Alter Ego (1985)
Directed by Peter Manoogian. Early Bilson/De Meo effort that was to star Jeffrey Byron as a sci-fi hero pitched halfway between Mandroid and Jack Deth. The film never got beyond initial planning due to lack of interest from international buyers. Brian Yuzna & Rob ('Swamp Thing') Goethals were also attached as producer & writer at a stage prior to Bilson/De Meo coming on board.

I think this wouldve been okay. unsure.gif

Paul De Meo and Danny Bilson were good writers, especially back during the Empire days.

Either too busy, or they weren't allowed to.

The Terror Trap interview with David Schmoeller, David said Charles Band wouldn't let him get involved with any of the PUPPET MASTER sequels because apparently it would look like some one else shared credit for creating Full Moon's biggest money maker.

Notice how in most of the sequels it says "Based on the original story idea created by Charles Band" with no mention of David, or Kenneth Hall, the guy who helped Charlie create the Story.

If that's true, maybe that's what happened with the TRANCERS sequels. That or Bill and Paul were too busy what with TV's The Flash and Disney's The Rocketeer during the early ninties.
