No, only the deal to release it on VHS. Same with shows like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Return of the Zombies.

You ever seen a zombie film where the zombies don't eat people?

CB gave it big distribution across US through Wizard, he re-released it shortly after to keep it in print.

Too bad Wizard doesn't do this anymore with their DVD line. I'd like to get some of the old films they released.

i agree it's just too bad. one i don' t plan on getting is this one "I Spit On Your Grave"

MORE like "I Spit On your Writer" cause that's what MAY have happend when they wrote this piece of crap of a movie. ya know? anyways, is "I Spit On Your Grave" even STILL in print? i'm just curious

Varying opinions are healthy, and a discussion board wouldn't work without them. I'm just curious as to why you feel the way you do beyond words like 'baddd' and 'borrring', because that is ofcourse what discussion is about, describing things so parties can better understand/respect each other.

well my thoughts on this movie is that it's BADLY Written. the directing was ok. the killings were actually creative i'll give you that. there aren't THAT MANY horror films that
kill creativly anymore. although the "Final Destination" films DO have that. tongue.gif anywys,

the acting was AWFUL! & it's Awfully funny that i don't think ANY of them act anymore who did the film. & MOST of them only did either just that film or did a few others till they quit film. i don't think the director is even working anymore! on ALL this about the actors, director i could be wrong i'm just going by the info that IMDB gives us. anywys

Mystery Science Theatre 3000 WOULD have been PERFECT for it had it been well a CLEANER film & NOT had nudity scenes or a guy having his.... cut off. for example THOSE scenes won't be shown on MSK3000 unfortually.

in short i wanted the characters TO DIE just cause on how BAD the acting is in the film.
i'm just glad about one thing though well ok two things. one being that Band doesn't have his name on it. & 2 that John Carradine wasn't in it. he did a LOT of REAL BAD movies from the 40's till he died & at LEAST he wasn't offered this one. tongue.gif

I have to disagree, I really felt like the villians (and the retard) were really that way, when they are in fact not, so they were convincing. I liked Camille Keaton too, she had to be convincing at turning the tables and she did, for me.

Alot of thought was put into this film believe it or not, but I respect your opinion, world would be a boring place is everyone agreed on the same stuff!

i agree with you bandfans. i'm NOT argue over the film. it's just NOT worth it. ya know? i'm glad you like it though. i do remember reading some of the reviews from the dvd. they had the original reviews of it. & granted some were good, BUT MOST were bad. i LOVE siskel & ebert. i mean what they had to say about it. it was just to FUNNY! & i can't stand those 2 either.

but some of the reviwes were QUITE funny. least i thought so. & no i don't pay attention to what critic's say about this film or that. they have given good reviews to some of the CRAPPIEST movies EVER MADE!

i'm sure you've noticed that but than they were prolly paid to give those good reviews, EVEN IF the movie was bad. ya know?

I really liked this movie, it was very powerful, and brutal. I thought the acting was good and believable. It seems like something that could happen, it really does. And the rape scene is so graphic and intense you feel awful for watching it. I loved this film.

the ONLY thing i thought was creative about this film is the killings. ayuh stuff like this DOES INDEED happen i agree. buuuuut as far as the acting goes? GOOD hardly. there's almost better acting in a porno. wait would ya call that acting? i wouldn't either. in short i went into this movie with a clear mind & a thought that i would at least enjoy it IF not like it. at least a little bit. i got neither buut a waste of time. too bad though. it's got a cool cover though as iv'e said in the past.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the acting in movies like this.

A remake is in the works apparently. Cinetel Films (Company behind Relentless, 976-EVIL, Ghoulies 4) is behind it.
