QUOTE (Blade23 @ Dec 14 2012, 02:42 AM)
DVD arrived in the mail just covered in signatures haha. Dark Delicacies even put the little slip inside the dvd that showed the date and names of the signing event. That was pretty cool. Also got Mr. Bricks and the Japanese cut of Toxic Avenger signed by Lloyd Kaufman. I was lucky as Kaufman tweeted that day that the Japanese cuts had sold out in 10 minutes! I guess since my order was a big one for the store they made damn sure I got mine haha.

I will watch this one soon, probably after I finish up the Christmas horror.

Congrats on the autographed products again. Right place, right time. If I would not have already purchased Reel Evil from the Full Moon Direct pre-sale, I would have purchased the one signed by the cast.

Lloyd: Good signature as well.

Enjoy !!!

GB

PS: Oh...I watched the remake of Black X-Mas a few nights ago. Lots of pretty women. Story was OK. Beforehand I put in an independent film called; Santa Clause Vs. The Zombies (2010). Fucking dreadful !! I lasted about 5 minutes before stopping it, and putting in Black X-Mas. Which I had for a couple / few years now. Mine I got from Blockbuster (exclusive blockbuster unrated version). Your Christmas movie posts motivated me to watch the Christmas themed movies. Worked out fine. Enjoyed the evening.

Finally decided it was time to watch a new Full Moon movie. This was the choice and it was solid like GB said. It was very atmospheric and it has the building of suspense throughout the film as you just never knew when something was going to happen. I liked the look and the structure of the movie sort of reminded me of Paranormal Activity with suspense building and shit hitting the fan to make for a fun little horror film. Good special effects, acting, and production. Lots of tits too and man did Tessa Lane have some nice ones! Indeed, a great way to close out 2012 for Full Moon.

GB said it: the Videozone. When I clicked on it and heard that familiar theme music, I was loving it! The video intro has some older Full Moon clips as well as several clips from recent films. Felt like a 90s moment for sure!

Lots more special features on here including segments called Darkest Hour and Darkest America. The host had a Elvira-like sense of humor and was pretty funny. Of course, I wish it was a hot chick doing the hosting haha.

Favorite line in the film: "Audio, video erased, otherwise it's balls and tits chopped!"

Feels like Full Moon is indeed doing well. Bring on Ooga Booga next!
