• Instead of pinning every damned thread, why don't we just enable a working search engine. Type in key words or a user name to find whatever it is. Would kinda reduce the hassle/annoyance of pinned threads (unless it is a critical announcement and/or rules of the board).

• There should be something we can do for the leaks thing, since now we have lurkers from lables threatening us with legal actions. I gave this some thought (:gayfight:), and I think a forum would be good at first, but it would only go so far. It would be a music upload part 2 if we kept the same peramiters. Maybe just combine the 2? music/new releases forum?...and only "registered" members are allowed? Put up a guideline that only the people we know are allowed?....I dunno, just throwing out ideas. The same ones we already discussed.

• How about a "logo contest"...not to say the current one sucks, but just something to get the artistic minds going for a bit. Something to represent our geeky music obsession but looking cool in the end. Any takers?

• Give some users a pacifier

I'm up for a new logo. Heck, I actually had 2-3 different ones lined up to upload. I don't mind the font-type but I definitely need a new colour scheme for it.

I'm still in process with a Wiki for the site. I'm going all the way and installing MediaWiki over the old system I had planned. (DB errors with it).

The old site still plasters the old page but I'm looking to change that in the summer (when I get more time off work).

I'm alos thinking of taking up Joe's idea of setting up a post requirement to view the Request forum. Also considering moving the Leak thread to that forum as well. I can't mask a thread by itself.

If I can get more confirmation and feedback on this I'd do it right away. I don't want to do something and then get sh** from users later.

A logo contest seems like a cool idea, even if I suck at creating anything visual and will not be able to participate beyond MS Paint creations.

I fully endorse this suggestion....for the 5th time.
