I post on another board that was originally intended to be a Nothing Records-related board, but over time it has evolved into something much more than that. Now, I've been thinking about how this board could be made more appealing to more people. Traditional methods would suggest that we ban a few people that are considered a nuisance, but I think that their might be a better way off going about things.

One thing that I was thinking about was splitting the boards into a few different categories. For example, we could have a General Discussion board (bulls*** talk and topics about how we're all doing and all of the weird, stupid things we find on the internet). Then, for music-related topics, we'd have a Music forum dedicated to just that - music. Album leaks, thoughts on other albums, concert experiences, etc. After that, a cinema forum for movies and television shows, along with DVDs and movie reviews. Then, a headlines forum dedicated to news stories and such. Then, an Arts forum similar to the one we already have, and finally, a sports forum for hockey, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, wrestling, etc.

I think that if the board changed to that layout and if the forums were all kept on topic, this board could become more appealing to new people strolling by.
