I've been kinda MIA around here the last 5 or 6 months since i didn't have internet at my new apartment for a few months, and then when I finally got it, my computer crashed. lost all my music. all 6000+ songs or so. so many breakdowns, gone. anyways, I've been able to come here every now and then at my parents' house. i just got a laptop for xmas, and I feel kind of out of the loop. how is everyone? anything new? anything cool? i know mr. lazerbeam had a kid and had about 3 years of his life shaved off in september thanks to the god damn red sox. that's about all of the major life updates i know from you dudes. :( i'm a shitty internet friend and I apologize.

as for myself, for those that aren't on twitter or friends with me on facebook, i'm currently in between the first and second quarters of paramedic school, in the second best program in the state of Ohio. I still have the same girlfriend, going on 2.5 years next month. Still at the same job i've been at for just over a year. I lost a good chunk of weight earlier this year, but sadly put a lot of that back on, due to laziness and having a girlfriend that stresses out way too much (we have a thing called "junk food night", for christs sake.) I'm still straight edge, I still listen to hardcore, so I still don't know why anybody here gets along with me.

Nah man, marriage has never come up really, she only turns 21 in March and just started college. Although we have been living together for like a year and a half already. How old is your girlfriend?

she turns 21 in June. she's been in college for a year and a half and is busting her ass to be done in 3, i believe. then she wants to spend an extended amount of time in costa rica teaching. so we're not even close to living with each other, although i'd totally be about it.

I was there for two months, travelled through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Coolest thing I've ever done. I'm considering going back to work, teach English or something. It's actually possible to save money there... I know, crazy!

my gf's cousin taught english over there (not sure which country, maybe taiwan?) for a year or so. brought home a yellow trophy. dude's a hipster douche, but he said teaching those kids english was the most fun he's ever had.

mike, once i get my paramedic card i'll automatically be getting $4 more at my current job. i plan on staying there for about a year to get my feet wet in that scope of practice. it's such a huge leap from what i can do now. after that year i'll go about looking for a full time spot at a city department. preferably one that's going back to separating fire and EMS, which it seems the area is about to do. lucky for me, because i don't want to walk into fires. i'm smarter than that.

I did lay track for the Canadian Rail road in almost all of the countries I was in, yes! And all lady parts were very nice, regardless of direction pointed.
