Heavenstone Secrets: Dec 29 2009 Secret Whispers: Feb 13 2010 Competition: Site Layout. Why? Because I suck at HTML and I still want a fully functioning site to go with the board. There is a thread in Updates which is open for suggestions for content :) So head on over :) |

I really like that idea. I also think it'd be neat if he'd write a book that goes more in detail about the time period (something from the 60's)... |

There's a lot of the ghostwriter stuff where the story just ends without any real in depth look at some of the characters. Take the Delia series, for example. SPOILER ALERT!!! The last book of the series, Delia's Gift, ends with a couple of the characters in her life ( her aunt and her cousin) suddenly becoming remorseful and 'good'...but there's so very little to explain just why her aunt suddenly changed and decided to not be such an angry, hateful person. I can't believe someone just 'changes' overnight. I would have expected more from a major character antagonist. You don't spend years being a bitch and then suddenly change. I would have liked to have seen more on characters which sort of ended abruptly, like whatever happened to Darcy, Fanny's daughter, and what became of her after being raised by the reverend and his wife. |

I would like to see something set outside of America. For example, set a series in the Middle East or South East Asia. The main charactor could be dealing with a war, his/her religious beliefes, a(n) arranged/forced marriage and a ton of other issues.

Well Fanny sorta falls into that same category as "sudden turn around" character but at least it was driven by what happened to Heaven and Logan as the turning point for her change though weakly written at best. Usually there is some great event that happens to turn a character around but not a full 360 that they just "suddenly" stop being evil/cruel/bitchy over night.

Well, some 360 happen due to illness or death or the character just get tired and the GW puts another bitch to replace her. The Clara Sue/Fern Dawn seemed to have a way of getting Clara Sue out of her life by owning the hotel and keeping Clara Sue out of it. So she is removed and they bring in Fern who takes over being that she can get into the hotel and come and go has she pleases and replaces the bitch position that was left vacant when Clara Sue left it. Then as far as the Cutler series goes another whinny bitch became vacant and the position did not need to be filled because the character had grown and could be affected by this antagonist Laura Sue became invalid and therefore unable to be the way she was and Dawn at that point didn't need (or more to the point couldn't be affected by) her anyway.
