I have a lamp exactly like that. Same colours and everything. I love this picture. VC Andrews was an amazing artist. I think it's sad we have so few examples of her work. |

She really was quite good. I sure wish there was a site somewhere that had more of her artwork available for viewing.

Yes, she was a fantastic artist but looking at her work does show a great deal of the bi-poler personalty (deep emphasis on the eyes and somewhat unnatural coloring for the background.) It also shows a sort of sadness or a wistful yearning does anyone else get this. I saw the pictures she gave to her sister in law beautiful but sad in a sorta nightmare sort of way. I wonder if in WIllow if the pictures her brother drew weren't taken from VCA ideas.
