An explosion in a high school chemistry lab has killed several students and teachers - and left the nearby survivors with some odd side effects. A select group of students and teachers are discovering that they've got certain...abilities.

The ability to read minds. The ability to change appearance at will. The ability to move things with their minds. All these things and more are beginning to happen, but the people they're happening to aren't staying healthy. One by one these "superhumans" are dying horrible, gruesome deaths, and no-one can explain it.

The question for the cops is this: what exploded in that lab that caused all of these mutations, and how do they stop the teenagers and school staff from dying the same deaths as their comrades?

The question for the students and teachers is this: Am I next?

The race is on to find the cause and stop the deaths, because the government has already begun a coverup, and soon there will be no more people to save.
