He saw the ship just up ahead. It was a rather breathtaking sight up close, or at least it would have been if it weren't for the fact that it was rather beaten up... and there were injured people everywhere.

He was about to fly over there himself, but out of the corner of his eye he saw Jaden waving at him. He wasn't quite sure what that was supposed to mean, but he assumed that she wanted him to come over. Serkane wasn't one to ignore something like that, so he flew over.

Something else caught Serkane's eye, however. A man he had never seen before was standing next to Jaden. After getting closer, he also saw a group of crows near him. Crows... that's right, there were crows when I met Jaden... and there's that one with the ribbon. he thought briefly to himself, but he quickly dismissed that thought from his mind. What was more important was the man.

He unsheathed his sword and pointed at Ayumu. "Who are you? Have you been stalking us the whole time? " he demanded. Something bothered him about the whole thing, though. He had never seen the man before, but it certainly seemed like Jaden had. He lowered his sword. "No... you don't look hostile... but I don't want to see you trying anything. I suppose we need all the help we can get at this point. " he said, sighing.

"Would you mind telling me who you are and where you came from? " he asked Ayumu. Something about the whole affair seemed wrong to him. Crows weren't usually found in this forest, and in any case crows with ribbons tied around them were very rare indeed. They seemed to be attracted to the stranger, and he remembered seeing them before but not the man. Either he was stalking them the whole time, the crows were a coincidence, or something else was going on...

"Oh... right, I almost forgot. Jaden, what was it you were wanting to tell me? I'm sure introductions can wait. "
