Greetings, my fellow Earthians! I would like to introduce to you the AfterLight Gazette! All site updates will be posted in this Gazette and will be updated monthly. This Gazette will have summaries on all the ongoing threads as well as any site changes. It will also feature the new adoptable characters and major news in the story line.

I would everyone to give a warm round of applause for our new members! Well, maybe not so new now because this is only updated monthly. Nevertheless, lets all clap for those that have joined since last month! WOOT!

UPDATE! June 04, 2009
I have decided to expand this board drastically to include more of outer space. After I decided to do this, I realized that I could merge one of my other boards into this one. There will now be several forum sections with sub-forums! The new IC forum sections are as follows:

• Earth (this board contains all posts that are happening on earth. This includes the earth expedition team!)
• New planet! Namue!

Other sections such as a general "out there in space" section will be added too.

Story Changes
As you all may know, I have decided to do something with the story line. I felt that it had become stale and boring and I was not enjoying it anymore. Therefore, I have been plotting and think I have come up with a solution. With that being said, you may wish to update your character(s) afterward, or you may wish to discard them and create entirely new characters. If that is the case, let me know so I can review any changes you are wanting to make to your character(s). Sometimes the email notifier does not send me emails saying someone has posted, so you may have to notify me that you have uploaded a new character sheet also. I sometimes over look those.

Plot Preview
Once the survey team arrives on Earth, things will begin to heat up. One certain kingdom, the Silver Forest, has long had a prophecy that a race of people will arrive from the heavens to conquer the reformed Earth. However, once such ruler does not wish for the new invaders from another world to claim her kingdom and will send her army to stop them. The question is how did the evolved creatures on Earth know the humans were coming? Was there some sort of evidence left behind on Earth that informed that the humans would be back? If so, what else could have survived after all this time?

New Characters!
With new story changes comes new characters! They are as follows:

• Queen Absinthe (Played by: The Keeper)
• Balor, Adviser to Queen Absinthe (Adoptable!)
• General of Queen Absinthe's army (Adoptable!)
• Empress Azurite Helio Spessartine (Player: The Keeper)

New Adoptable Characters!
Some of the new characters are adoptable. Don't forget that you can add to the list as well if you have a character that needs a player. For more information on adopting, or placing a character up for adoption, view the Adoptable characters section on the left side menu. Anyway, the new adoptable characters are as follows:

• Balor, Adviser to Queen Absinthe
• General of Queen Absinthe's army
• Vlad Weldon

New Banner
I have created a new banner for the site, as I didn't like the old one much. The old banner looked retro and I really don't like the retro style so I had to update it. Still not too sure if I am happy with it, so it may get changed again in the near future.

Affiliate Changes
Every month new advertisements go out and come in. All advertisements that are placed in the affiliates section are checked for activity every month. This section will list the new affiliates and those that have been removed.

Other Changes

• How to Adopt a Character thread updated.
• New sub-forum created in Salir in preparation for the new story changes. The Silver Forest kingdom has been added!
• Member legend was changed and fixed.
