Name of Species: Kakar’i
Race Appearance: They resemble orbs, but they are created of a liquid like substance. They are no bigger than a tennis ball. They each have a colour specific to them, and no two are the same.
Genders: Asexual
Life Span: Unknown
Compatibility: They are a companion race, they are usually sarcastic and an only be heard by the host. They choose the host to bond with, and when they do the host must stay with the Kakar’I until they die or the Kakar’I chooses to leave the host.
Mythology: Each one believes they are a God, and in fact some mythology even supports this idea. In some ancient texts and in some ancient art there is described and depicted “heavenly orbs” and pictures of mages and other powerful people show orbs in their hands, or somewhere on their body. However, whether they are in fact God’s or if they are just a self obsessed race that either likes to say they are God’s or have forgotten that they are not, no one knows.
Common Strengths: They are intensely knowledgeable, however due to their sarcastic nature they don’t share their knowledge with the host, unless they really believe it is needed, trust the host enough to know they won’t use the information irresponsibly or are just bored and want to see what will happen. These three things don’t happen very often.
Common Weaknesses: They have no physical body, so to survive they need a host. They can in fact live in a dead body, drawing on the abandoned life energy but can not hold it for long, and so if they run out of the life energy they enter a sleep like state, where they use up very little life energy but cannot do anything. In this state they resemble a perfect orb, in the colour the orb is normally.
Place: There is no single place that they reside, they have been scattered around the galaxy, travelling from place to place in the hosts they inhabit.
Races: N/A
Other: There are known to be only 7 living Kakar’I, and their whereabouts have been lost. They are named after the colour they are, including black, red, blue, green, brown, yellow and white. They each have an imbued, unique power, but these powers are unknown to everyone except the orbs themselves. They communicate w0ith their host telepathically and can talk to other people. They don’t like too though, because that draws attention to the host and so they then need to abandon the host. If the Kakar’I chooses the host and then leaves the hosts body, the life span of the host is dramatically shortened and if they don’t make a recovery after 3 weeks, chances they will die.
