Monday, June 4th, 3572; Early Afternoon
Early that morning, Haiden had parked her car on a side street in the center of Telordya, and from there, taken off on foot into the outer reaches of the city. Starting at the center and working her way outwards was a bit of a task, as that was a long way to go, especially when she considered that she'd need to run the same distance back to return.
Intervals were her method of choice today. In the more crowded part of the city, she'd warmed up by going at a light jog, careful not to mow anyone down in the process. And then she'd sprint for a bit, at top speed, before gradually coming back down into a jog. The only thing she carried on her was a small pouch of water, firmly fastened to a belt around her waist.
When at last she'd arrived back, her athletic gear for the day - a pale blue tank top and white runner's shorts - were drenched with enough sweat to make most people uncomfortable. Haiden, however, was no stranger to sweat, and she found the process to be detoxifying. She wasn't bothered in the least.
Upon arriving back in the city, she'd taken a brief walk around a few blocks, trying to cool off before going into any establishments. Her lightly tanned skin was a bit flushed from the effort, and blonde locks were plastered to the side of her face, the nape of her neck. This was one of the many reasons she kept it short, though - to avoid that problem in excess.
When at last she looked at least a fraction more presentable, she found herself in front of what looked like a deli. Her stomach growled as if it had the ability to sense that the prospect of food was nearby. So, without another thought, she pulled the door open, and a pleasant bell tinkled upon her entrance, announcing a customer's arrival.
