I will listen to the Freshman without interruption and once she or he was finished, I'll make sure I understand the problem and go to the teacher. There I'll talk with the teacher and see if there's anything I can do to help the student. After that, I would get back with he or she and tell them what to do in order to get middle ground or where the problem is no more.

I'll listen thoroughly to my friend and tell them the truth. No matter if it'll hurt them or not. What's the point if you don't tell them the truth?

I'll go to my friend's recital. First, more than likely I have promised my friend I'll come and cheer her on. Secondly, the concert is in more than one location so I can see it later. Thirdly, I hate disappointing my friends. I am a person that keeps my promises.
