I know there is some speculation about the site closing.

I will not deny that. At the same time, I don't guarantee that it will be here to stay. The feelings I have for the site are still floating in the air. We've made a lot of progress with the site. I've learned a lot about people in general just with the interaction I've had on here, and as each day goes on, I cannot refute with the fact that this site has helped me shed light on a few things.

There's been a lot of great threads, great memories, and just a lot of growth in a lot of ways unimaginable. I know that running this site, I've honed my skills as a site administrator. Unfortunately, my convictions have let me second-guess my place as a master of operations on the site.

Frankly, I don't feel comfortable leading the site. I may have founded the site, but my feelings towards running a site sympathetic to Christianity have changed. When I created the site, I almost thought of the site as a refuge for role players who were Bible-believing followers of Christ and a place for people to discover Christianity in action. At this point in time, I'm beginning to prefer actual discipleship - the idea of all the members just dispersing and just being examples. So basically, I went to the polar opposite of an issue that has lulled around in my mind for a while.

It's confusing, to say in the least. To close the site, switch ownership, or just leave does not put me in an easy position. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning the site because I switched my beliefs in God Himself - just saying that to make it clear - you know how people take things out of context. smile.gif

Regardless of how I feel about the site, I just want to say that I'll give the site another chance, if only for a very, very short while. I have been working on side projects - of which one of them I have co-pioneered has completely failed, and I'm making a completely new site on my own - and it's evident that I will probably depart from the site.

That doesn't mean I won't keep contact with you all. But this does mean as today, I will reconsider my options until sometime in June. By then, I will either formally resign, or continue as head administrator. Please don't see this as anything negative against anyone on the site. I feel that my resignation as head administrator of the site will be for the best interests of the site.

    Thank you.

    a cruce salus.

    nathan.
