athletic complex
the brucker athletic complex was donated to the school in the late 1990's by reknowned dancer chloe brucker. it houses an impressive dance studio, an indoor olympic sized pool, a steam room, a weight room, and two indoor basketball courts.

grounds
looking at it from the street, one wouldn't think that avery could possibly possess such impressive grounds being in the middle of the city. they still manage to house a football field, a baseball diamond, and three tennis courts, as well as a courtyard where students enjoy one another's company.

times square
perhaps the most known area in new york city, times square, and the adjacent theater district, is always wide awake. perfect place for dates, but tends to be completely overrun with tourists a lot of the time.

central park
the most well known park not only in new york, but in the entire continental u.s. it's the perfect place to bring a kid to play or a book to read on a sunny day. just remember to use the buddy system when visiting central park alone at night.

new york public library
students often come here when they need a change in study environment or when they just need a good book to read. the front yard of the library is also one of the well know parks in new york, bryant park where fashion shows, concerts, ad film festivals are held.

it might not be their slogan, but new york, like las vegas, is a city that never sleeps. a good fake-id is recommended for those who are avid fans of the city's night life, but in this day and age everybody seems to know somebody and can usually get on a guest list somewhere.
