* THE RULES ! REGISTERING & MAKING YOUR CHARACTER.- register all in capitals with a first middle and
last name. EXAMPLE; WILLIAM PETER LAURENCE
- be sensible. not everyone has a tragic past. make
your character original but not perfect; show their flaws,
mistakes, memories and feelings. make them three
dimensional and believable. for example, if you pick an
unusual name, back it up with some insight into why that's
what they're called.
- characters should look their age. reese witherspoon
can't pull off sixteen and miley cyrus won't fly for twenty.
- keep the boy/girl ratio even. don't have four girls
and no boys. equally, don't have four boys and no girls
if we're in need of girls.
- we don't limit the number of characters you can have,
but please don't take up more than you think you can handle.
also, don't take up all the popular pbs unless you're going to
be really, really active in using them. because that's just unfair
on others.
GRAPHICS & PLAY-BYS. - please don't whine if you can't get your first choice of
play-by. there are up to six open spots for come faces so
with each activity check you might see some open up.
- no naked images in your signatures/avatars. we really
do not need to see it, quite frankly.
- you need an avatar and signature, and they should be pretty.
request them or pick some up from one of the many resource
sites out there, such as caution, rcr, pandora's closet.
- avatars should be no larger than 200x200 and no small
than 100x100. signatures can be two 200x300 icons or
smaller, or a banner up to 450x250. you may also include a
text banner if you want. these are rough estimations of pixels
by the way; but just keep them in mind. we'll tell you if your
graphics are too big or small. and for the love of god, do not
stretch the page with any graphics.
- CREDIT YOUR GRAPHICS AND REHOST THEM IF YOU'RE
ASKED TO. it's only polite, if you're using stuff that other people
have made.
GENERAL ROLEPLAYING. - respect all members and staff. if you have a problem, take
it to the admin and we'll sort it out for you.
- don't godmode or powerplay. that should go without saying
to be honest. if you don't know what this means, you maybe
shouldn't be on this board.
- no chatspeak unless it's in IM threads. no one really says
'brb' and 'ttyl' in real conversation. or they don't here, anyway.
- use a spellchecker before you post and try to use correct
grammar at all times. post in third person and past tense, too.
EXAMPLE; "Jonathon walked across the street towards the club."
but we're not bothered about whether or not you capitalize.
- this board is rated M for MATURE. this means sex, drugs and
don't forget the violence. if you feel uncomfortable with that, don't
join. but if you are writing a graphic thread, please put an [M] in
the title somewhere so that people know before they click on it.
and remember Invisionfree TOS bans any 'graphic content' so
think carefully. we don't need smut here, no thanks!
OUT OF CHARACTER. - do not TlK lYK dIs. it's kind of obnoxious, yeah?
- do not spam up the cbox/ooc boards. not cool and not needed.
- don't be afraid to talk to us in the cbox! we're a friendly bunch
and we'll be happy to answer any questions that you have, or help
with pbs and things like that. be friendly to guests and members.
- there is no need to be rude or bash this site, or any others.
if you have a problem, take it up with an admin. no need to air
your dirty laundry in public!
ADVERTISING. - post your advert once and post it in the right board.
- make sure your site has somewhere we can post our advert back to.
