normal technology cannot break the barrier between milford and droflim. the only way, when mirrors are not permeable, that residents of the two worlds can communicate with each other is through mirror steam. that's right, that steam that fogs up your mirror when you take a shower. all you have to do is write the name of the person you want to send the message to, followed by the message, and if that person is in front of a mirror at the time, they'll get your message. yes, we know the fingerprints are a bitch to clean, but it's worth it.

because milford is such a small place, there's only one high school. private school is pretty much a foreign concept to these kids. equipped with a football field and a rather large courtyard, it's all they really need anyways.
