1. Remember that this role-play forum is semi-literate to literate, so there will be no one-liner posts, you should be able to post at the bare minimum two paragraphs (each roughly 6+ sentences). Keep in mind that it is always easier to write a reply to a post when you give others plenty of material to work with, and don’t forget that humans have five senses, using most if not all in a post will really help to expand your role-play. We ask that you role-play in past-tense in third person.

2. It is recommended that you check your post over for any spelling or grammar mistakes - I know you all might not have time and I am the worse one for not doing this at times - but they look a lot more "presentable" if you actually do check them over before sending them to the list.

3. Absolutely NO short-hand "chat" responses will be allowed on the RP boards (u should be written as you, r should be written as are etc . . .)

4. At no time are you allowed to write for another writers character, unless you have made a request to the writer and been given permission from both the writer and the Admin. So this means no god-moding, or power players.

5. NO CHAIN LETTERS!!! You are not allowed to use the RP boards for chain letter purposes! If you send a chain letter within the RP you will get NO warnings, you will be kicked out right on the spot. This includes "virus warning" hoaxes and "cancer patient" letters. A chain letter, for those blessed few who have never seen one, is a letter that basically threatens bad luck or bad occurrences if one does not pass the letter on to a certain number of people in a certain amount of time. Much of the time they also have viruses!

6. This club is rated M for Mature, now that doesn't mean if you are younger you can't join, just please keep it in mind that violence, swearing, and romance will take place. But if you are going to write about these things you must have a warning at the top of the post to allow members to choose if they wish to read the post or not.

7. Be active. Do NOT join if you are only going to post once and disappear forever. We ask that you post at least once ever seven days (once every week – shouldn’t be too difficult). If will be gone for longer than a week, please post in the absences thread or PM an Admin! If you fail to post for over a week you will receive one warning (an e-mail will be sent) before your account is deleted.

8. Last but not least we request that you have fun and enjoy your time here at Bring Me The Horizon.

Thank-you for reading the rules, no when you go to sign up you’ll find that it is a protected form and the answer to unlock it is simply ‘rum’ enter that and you are free to sign-up your character. And remember when you sign-up that you are not allowed to start rol-eplaying until your character is approved by the Admin.
