Gemma was striking his sword right back, with as much strength as she was willing to give. She wouldn't give it all out, knowing that she would need much of her strength for later. She knew she was no doubt weaker than him, considering he was a man, and no doubt much stronger than herself. If need be, she could grab the knife in her boot, but she didn't feel like it, well, not yet atleast. "I wont be doing that, any time soon" Her breathing was becoming heavier, and faster, her blood was pumping, and rushing through her body. She caught his sword and swung back hard, moving a few steps forward, bring her sword hard aganst his, near his head.

Tristan stumbled back but quickly regained his footing, he then pushed towards Gemma again, not wanting her to get the advantage over him and their swords crossed again and Tristan leaned forward and pushed his sword towards Gemma, they seemed to be at a stalemate, swords locked and neither one giving up. He pushed and she resisted, they were now a few inches away from one another’s face. He could smell her sweet scent and quickly dispelled any thoughts of Gemma other then beating her as he dug in his foot and pushed off his left leg, causing Gemma to stumble backwards. He then took a step backwards, did a full turn and his sword hit Gemma’s hard, hard enough to knock it flying from her hand. Tristan reacted fast, he hadn’t quite expected that but it was good none-the-less. He raised his sword and let the blade rest lightly on her smooth neck. “Well miss Laroue, I think now would be an ideal time to give up.”

Gemma stumbled backwards as he pushed on her sword with more force than she probobly had. As he hit her sword from her hand she stumbled again, feeling the cool steele from the sword placed on her neck. She got a cold chill along her arms, her eyes moved to a few feet away, where her clean sword lay alone. She knew what she could do, it was risky, but what wasn't in the world of piracy? She could very well have her neck split open at the very moment. It was not her idea of a fun day, but then again, she didn't want to lose to the man. Looking down to his feet, and to his legs, she looked to her feet. She was calculating running it all over in her mind. She inched herself closer, feeling the skin about to pierce. "Mr Smith, Even though I am a pirate, are you at all ready to kill a woman?" She had a slight hunch that the man had never killed a woman before.

Gemma held her hands up and then moved then around to her back as she saw the gun. Her chance was gone, she couldn't do what she had been planning. She had been planning on kicking his legs out, grabbing her sword, and while he was on the ground, holding the sword tip just as close as his was to hers. "Fine, Tristan" she was in no way about to call him Mr. Smith, that would be the polite thing to do, at this point, she was over being polite with the young man. Giving him a glare that was filled with ice. "It seems to me im not the only pirate" she said, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Afterall, you did pull out the gun, not very, Heroic, playing a pirate trick, are we?" it was true, he had puleld a dirty trick, pulling out the gun, she had no way to dodge bullets unless he was shooting from a far distance.
