A picture of beauty, Raye Hino stands among the best. She's never thought too much of her external beauty, choosing to focus more on the internal beauty, but other people can't help but notice her. Raye's never thought too much of beauty, simply because it's not in the forefront of her life. Being the determined individual she is, Raye prefers to focus on other, more important things, rather than standing in front of the mirror for house on end. It's a shame too, really. The delicate curves of her soft, round face are lovely, no doubt, but they could be so much brighter if Raye would spend the time to put makeup on. Her lovely brown eyes could look so much brighter if paired with a good shadow and eyeliner. However, she could care less.

Really, the only part of her appearance she's truly vain about is her hair. A magnificent brown in color, it ripples down past her shoulders in careful waves. Going for the more natural look. Raye won't ever be seen straightening her hair, or coloring it. She absolutely adores her hair, even if it does break her "Trust your inner beauty" philosophy. Some days, she chooses to put her hair up into a loose pony tail, and others, she chooses to keep it down. No matter what she does with it, it never fails to be admired, both by others as well as herself.

A bit on the petite side, Raye Hino has always been a small girl. Standing at only 5'3", and weighing in at only 112 pounds, Raye looks like the furthest thing from menacing on the outside. It's not until you make her mad that you truly understand why she has the reputation she does. Sticking to the natural theme, Raye chooses to wear clothing that isn't flashy. She's not a fan of fussy clothing, and chooses, rather, to wear whatever is clean and in her closet. She, however, doesn't fit into a specific stereotype. If she wants to wear girly clothing, she can, or if she wants to wear a loose shirt and a pair of coveralls, she can. It all depends on her and her feelings.

  PERSONALITY >>
  Raye Hino is interesting, to say the least. The raven-haired beauty has always been told that she should have been born with flaming red hair to match the fire within her heart. Raye, however, has never liked that statement. Why should she let someone tell her what her hair color should have been? Why the hell should she let someone tell her that her personality doesn't match her look? And since when does she have to fit into someone else's opinion of what a brunette should be. Raye has always asked herself those questions, but she's never come up with any amount of possible answers. The only one seeming probable enough to be true would be that people are just stupid.
  
  Determined, for one thing, is a severe understatement when speaking of Miss. Hino. Not only is she determined, but she'll fight for the death for something she wants, and she'll be damned if she lets someone else get in her way. Her dreams belong to her, and no one else. She has never accepted a hand out from anyone, which developed into a strange personality trait. Her pride started as a small kitten inside of her, but soon grew into a full-blown tiger. She refuses help of any kind and is, almost sickeningly, dependent. Even her family, whom she loves dearly, is pushed away when offering help.
  
  More often than not, Raye's determination gets the better of her, forcing her temper to blaze up again. Her temper, probably her biggest flaw, has the tendency to get the best of her. The fiery red-head in raven's clothing has a temper like no other. Raye fights at the drop of a hat, and is extremely argumentative. However, it always seems to work out for the greater good. Her temper, though annoying, seems to get the job done when Raye needs to get ahead. Perhaps the only people she's slow to fight with are her family, but even they get their fair share of ANGRY!raye. When it comes to her temper, almost no one is safe.
  
  HISTORY >>
  Melissa and Jasper were the picture of love. They had been high school sweethearts when they were young, and they had survived the romantic pressures of college. Their wedding was a beautiful traditional ceremony, filled with laughter and romance. That night, they were swept away on their honeymoon. Nine months later, Raye Hino was born. Though they hadn't planned on Melissa getting pregnant on their honeymoon, Raye was well-loved. She was loved the same, if not more, than a planned child. Even when she was still a baby, her personality was apparent. When she wanted attention, she didn't stop until she got it. The whole 'let her cry herself to sleep' thing didn't work with Raye - she wanted more. She grew up with a normal home life, the only difference being that she also had a grandparent that lived with her, instead of just two parents.
  
  Raye was happy, but she was even happier when her sister was born, and happier when her brother was born years later. She was ecstatic to have someone to share her life with. Though they had their fair share of minor scuffles, Raye loved her siblings. She was brought up to loved her family, and she did. They were very close to her in everything that she did. When she needed help, the first people she went to were her family members. When one of her siblings needed help, Raye was the first one in line to offer her services.
  
  As the years came and went, Raye moved through school year after school year. She learned how to get ahead in life, and she employed that factor in everything that she did. As the time passed, Raye made a reputation for being short-tempered and determined, which were accurate summaries about her personality. She made friends, and she lost friends. She graduated from high school in the top ten of her class, but she wasn't number one. It was good enough for her family, however, it was far from good enough for Raye. Her determination and lust to be the best drove her to vow to do better in college.
  
  She was accepted into a college near Los Angeles, to which Raye responded to an eager acceptance. Barely into her freshman year, Raye is pushing herself to be the best, just like every other student at college.
  
  In all, Raye's life has been uneventful. Uneventful, of course, except for the strange visions. While sleeping, Raye sees occasional visions warning her of danger in the future and telling her to be on the look out for some sort of sign. Raye tries to ignore them, considering them normal dreams and not visions. Her spiritual grandfather, however, has other opinions. Minus the strange visions, Raye's life until now has been normal. She's starved for something exciting.

Hello there! A very nice application, we're merely confused/curious about one thing. We'd like to know your reasoning behind giving Raye siblings. We feel a big part of her personality is that she's such a loner up until meeting the scouts, so we'd like to see what you've got planned, if anything, and why you've chosen to make this change with her. :D Thanks for your time, we look forward to your response!

I felt that giving her siblings to make her more interesting. I wanted to show that when she was younger, she was very involved in her family and was ecstatic to have siblings. As her fighting fire kind of awakened and she pushed herself to be the best, her argumentative side came out and she kind of pushed her siblings away, thus making herself a loner. I just wanted to make her more interesting. :) i thought I put that bit in there, but I guess I didn't.

If you don't agree, I'll gladly change anything to fit the needs for the forum.

No, we're curious to see what you do with this. So long as she does indeed become that Raye we know and love, pushing people away...then it will probably work. Go for it. :)
