some magical humans return to earth as ghosts, condemned to wander
the places they've visited before as translucent beings with lots of voice and little influence.
but most of them end up here. they call it the other side. and really, it's not far from the world they left behind.
it's like another planet exactly identical to the living world.
there is a britain here, and a london, and that's where those who knew harry potter ended up.
muggles and magical humans end up here.

just like before, the muggles are unaware of their counterparts.
just like before, magic is a crucial part of the lives of the witches and wizards,
just like before, people flirt and fight and have friends and enemies and christmas dinners and bedtime stories.
life goes on at the other side.

but of course, some things are very different.
for one, no one ages. you're frozen at the age you died, and you'll remain that way until you die a second time.
no one knows what happens then.
you have a hundred years. thirty five thousand, six hundred days, and then you leave the other side.
second, you can watch everything that's happening in the world you left.
and there are ways for you to communicate.
most of them have to do with electric appliances.
but generally, it's a one-way window.

the hogwarts war is over. lord voldemort has died.
and he, too, has come to the other side.
and now, while the people in the world celebrate the boy who won, war begins on the other side.
the marauders are all reunited.
so, too, are many of the death eaters.
but death has not soothed voldemort's evil ways.
and now, it will be up to those on the other side to soothe this beast.
they're not resting in peace.
