Julian’s appearance starts off at the top with nothing out of the ordinary, short black hair. Scion has blue eyes and what many would call a slightly angular, almost square face. Scion is a very fit young man, this is mostly due to rigorous training. While his muscles aren’t big, but clearly visible when he has his uniform on. When not in his uniform Julian tends to wear regular clothing, which normally consists of a t-shirt and a pair of slacks or jeans.
Personality: Julian is a very confident young man. Many would say his confident and superior behaviour make him come off as arrogant, which he is. Unlike most other students he’s not particularly humble when it comes to the staff, nor is he particularly fond of humans. Despite his superior attitude and mannerism, Julian is still fully capable of telling right from wrong. Potential for both great evil and great good.
Scion absolutely loves attention, there is nothing he loves more than being the centre of attention. Something which goes hand in hand with his love for attention, is his love for competition. In school, everything is a competition and Julian will go to any lengths if it means winning. Julian will always pursue any goal
Powers: Scion has telekinesis which grants him the ability to do several different things. He can move/levitate things with his mind, create telekinetic barriers, bubbles and other solid constructs, unleash telekinetic force blasts, and fly at subsonic speed.
Weaknesses: Like any Telekinetic Hellion has to focus in order to use his powers. If he’s not prepared or caught off surprised, he is very susceptible to being speed blitzed. Julian also has human durability, which means that he’s not able to take a lot of punishment.
Power Potential: If Scion maintains his training there is almost no limit to what he can achieve as he gets older. As of now, training would normally lead to stronger force blasts, barriers and enable him to lift heavier things.
History: Julian was born into a very rich family. His parents had worked they were from poverty into becoming a middle class family, and eventually managed to become millionaires. Julian was not a lonely child, as he had a brother who was a couple of years older. James was a very rough and loud child, and said behaviour carried on into his teens. Julian didn’t receive a lot of attention from his parents, as his brother was constantly making trouble.
As a result of not receiving a lot of attention, Julian started acting out just like his brother. His parents realized that this was his way of seeking attention and did not punish him for his behaviour, leading to a certain animosity between Julian and his older brother. This continued as Julian came into his teens as well, only then James finally started maturing. He got into law school and turned into the perfect son. This was around the time that Julian reached his teens and his powers manifested.
His parents were not positive to this at all. While THEY did not think any less of other people, regardless of whether they were mutants or not, they were certainly worried about their reputation. Julian had little to no control of his powers, but still tried to use them as much as he could. He was finally getting the attention he wanted after all. Negative attention was better than no attention at all. As a result of this Scion developed a sort of ”bad-ass” attitude, and started being the bad-boy.
At his 15th birthday, Julian’s parents received information about the Xavier’s school for gifted children and decided to send their son there, hoping that he would learn how to better control his powers. After a couple of years with the x-men, Scion’s control over his powers has increased significantly, as has his power output. He is now a proud member of he x-men.
Other: - Scion’s eyes tend to glow green whenever he uses his powers - His powers give him a green aura when used - His codename stems from the fact that he was also a talented student, a prodigy.
Sample RP: Some sort of pillar extended below Scion, threatening to crush him against the roof. Quickly he leapt off it and used his telekinesis to keep him air borne in mid air, right now dodging any incoming projectiles was top priority. Suddenly a mass of shuriken was launched form a canon that appeared out of a hole on the wall. Scion erected a telekinetic barrier, before unleashing a powerful telekinetic blast.
It did not cease with that though, oh no. The danger room would not stop until ordered to, and Scion had no plans of finishing up his training just yet. He had come here for a reason, to train, and did not plan on stopping until he was all worn out.
There were a lot of things that could help him practice his finesse, but there was plenty of ways to improve his defence and strength. A giant metal bar swung at him, Hellion was barely able to pull up a telekinetic barrier and dampen the impact. He fell back and started solidifying telekinetic energy, turning it into a large sword and shield. As his metallic assailant struck once more Julian raised his shield, which served to slow it down and allow him a second to think.
Raising his right arm he brought the sword down as hard and swiftly as he could. Right now, his top priority had changed to keeping this large metal bar from squishing him into the wall. He sliced half clear off and pushed it back with his telekinetic shield. “And to no one’s great surprised, I pulled off something amazing once again” Julian thought and looked down at the shield, perhaps he could do some sort of body armor as well.
