Dansbury Fair Mall, Danbury, Connecticut

[Jubilee]

Piotr, Kitty, Jubilee and Chris arrived at the Danbury Fair Mall after about 20 minutes. Traffic really hadn't been too bad. Amazingly enough there had been some periods of time where there was silence other than the soft music playing on the radio that Piotr had picked (despite the protests of Jubilee not getting to pick). During these times where Jubilee wasn't talking she was staring out the window to see what she could see. When they arrived at the two level mall which housed 169 stores Jubilee squealed with delight. After a few minutes of trying to find a decent parking space they finally got out of the vehicle and Jubilee instantly attached herself to Chris's arm. And so the group headed into the mall.

"Where to first gang? Oh, they have a Spencers!"

"Spencers sounds great!" Kitty exclaimed almost as excitedly as Jubilee sounded in mentioning it.

"We should so go to the food court for the next stop though, they have a selection that you wouldn't believe." She added.

This place was almost known for how many different food stands that it had. It varied from the average Mc Donalds and Burgerkings to places like the Wok and Fuji's. She loved Fuji's, they had the best sushi ever in her opinion. Her stomach near growled from just the thought of it. Had she come here by herself, she would have been torn between food and shopping.

[Colossus]

Peter had followed them silently... He was never the shopping type, not at all... In truth, it had bored the hell out of him... Not that he didnt shop, he did, but by himself... And usually very quickly... He didnt like standing like a fool outside changing rooms for half an hour at a time staring at his feet, or sitting in the foodhall watching sports he wasn't interested in... He knew he didn't want to be here, and yet, he was... He wondered why... He did... It mystified him... He scratched his head as they all discussed where they were going... Was there anywhere he wanted to go? Sure... Home.

[Jubilee]

Jubilee looked around at various things. They had alot of stuff to see in Spencers various adult themed games and toys. Plasma balls and lava lamps.and even had some haloween type things up. One section was dedicated to marijuna themed merchandise, but she wasn't really interested in that. She thought that using drugs was kinda lame. Various band paraphenilia could be found as well. AC/DC, Aerosmith, the Scorpions and Queen to name a few. Eventually Jubilee wound up purchasing a pair of Fuzzy handcuffs and a blue lava lamp. Both of which she said were for Chris. The former she said with a wink.

Kitty looked over at Peter every so often. Although he was usually the silent type, she felt a slight pang of guilt for having dragged him along. He didn't seem to want to be there. As she thought she saw hesitation in him when they arrived to the Spencers, she took his hand lightly and led him in.

"I'm sure you'd rather come in and take a look than stand out there." Kitty commented with a bright smile.

They weren't in the store for long with the combination of kitty having come here plenty of times enough to know the store like the back of her hand and Jubilee having found what she wanted early while the two guys seemed not so interested... Well, Chris seemed to get interested once he found out the two things that Jubilee had gotten were for him. While the couple were distracted, Kitty tapped Peter's shoulder. She then held up one of two dogtags she had purchased.

"I hope you like it."

She was blushing, she could tell by the heat of her cheeks.

[Colossus]

Peter looked around, taking it all in... I have trekked through the forozen wastes, cut down mighty elm trees, and now... Now... This looks like one quest I do not think i would survive... He was brought back to earth by Kitty taking his hand...

"I'm sure you'd rather come in and take a look than stand out there."

In all honesty she probably wasnt strong enough to pull him, so he must have wanted to go with her as it was...

The shop was alright, he spent a fair bit of time browsing, a few items catching his eye, but he'd been caught unawares when Kitty surprised him with a gift...

"I hope you like it."

He examined the dog tag... Hmm...

Peter

Kitty

"I do... Thank you," he answered, smiling... What would possess her to... Hmm... He looked at the dog tag, then back at her... "But I have not purchased anything for you..."

Kitty smiled as Peter accepted her gift then blushing a bit more when he mentioned the topic of him not getting her anything, she tucked some of her hair behind an ear.

"You don't have to give me anything. I'm just happy that you like what I gave you." She told him with a shy smile.

The shyness was getting to be too much so Kitty quickly turned to Jubilee.

"So, what's our next stop?" She asked.

"You don't have to give me anything. I'm just happy that you like what I gave you."

Peter smiled... This was very sweet of her... He was not accustomed to receving gifts, and she seemed to genuinely be concerned with him liking her gift... He barely managed to suppress a blush himself, but before he could say anything, she had turned away...

"So, what's our next stop?"

She was talking to Jubilee... He was about to offer to get her something, or to ask why she had bought him a gift like this... His shoulders slumped a little, he didn't like missing opportunities to get to know people... He'd always been so shy and withdrawn, and found it hard to get to know people... He'd almost had his chance then...

[Creshosk]

"Well," Chris said speaking up. "If its allright with the rest of you, I need to pick up some new shirts. Chris said eyeing the Men's Wearhouse just across the way. "I've been meaning to for some time, but didn't know where there were any stores. So would it be allright if we head over to the Men's Wearhouse next? If not that's okay too. I can always pick them up later now that I know how to get here." Chris looked at the rest of the group hopefully.

[Colossus]

Colossus had zoned out a little, admiring the gift he had been given... After all, and he knew this from his own experience, and it seemed to be true for the entire world, once two women began speaking to each other, it was almost impossible to get them to stop... It seemed the same way with shopping...

"Ah... yes... I think that would be a good idea... I know I could use some new clothes... I feel like Bill Bixby sometimes with my clothes constantly ripping," he said smiling sheepishly... Though he knew that on a trip like this, the men needed to look out for each other, lest they fall foul of the women's shopping needs...

Kitty smirked at Peters comment, though she still hadn't heard what Jubilee wanted to do next, so shopping for the guys seemed alright to her. Heck, she probably could get away with helping Peter pick out his new shirts. "Well, I could use a new pair of shorts..." Smiling at both guys she hoped that Jubilee would be okay with a little "detour" of sorts so the boys didn't have feel so weird. After all she did kinda drag Peter into this....mess, if it could be called that.

With that being said she started off, fully expecting to be followed soon after by the others, though in truth Kitty knew that she could be walking off into a guys store all by herself. Still new shorts did sound nice, and then maybe after they could go looking for shoes. When one bought shorts, why not buy a pair of flip-flops to go along with them? And well in truth the shoes would be cheep which was always nice.

Turing she russled up the courage to try and sneak her way into helping Peter pick out some shirts, "So, Peter, what type of shirts were you thinking of getting?" Oh so obvious, Kitty thought her herself and tried to keep the blush off her face for being as such. Why in the world did she have to be so shy around him? Every other guy that she knew, she could be down right weird and it wouldn't matter. So why did it matter when it came to Peter? Kitty had her own guesses, not that she would actually tell anyone about those yet.

Peter had been patiently waiting to see what would happen next... Actually he was pretty impatient... He hated clothes shopping... He had been so used to getting hand-me-downs that having the money to just go out and buy what you wanted was a rather strange phenomenon...

"So, Peter, what type of shirts were you thinking of getting?"

He turned to Kitty, her gift already around his neck... "I... Hmm... I usually just try to find something in my size," he said, smiling that sheepish, farmboy smile of his... "Really though, something that fits well and is very simple... And the cuffs and collar must match the rest of the shirt," he hastily added, remembering those shirts that he had seen... Blue with white collar and cuffs... What, do these people actually think that it looks good? He asked himself, before continuing... "Something plain... I do not like stripes..."

[Jubilee]

"Yeah lets help the boys pick out clothes for themselves!" Jubilee Grabbed onto Chris's arm and tromped off after Kitty. "After this lets swing by Hot Topic I wanna see what Anime goods they have in stock. After that Maybe the boys can help us pick out some clothes." Jubilee winked at Kitty. They Walked into the men's warehouse and headed to the shirts.
"Now what would look good on you, Chris?" Jubilee picked out a baby blue shirt and held it up to Chris. "What do you think, Kat?"

Kitty thought a bit before nodding at the shirt that Jubilee held up, "Yeah it would look good on him." She smiled, and turned back to Peter. So the guys was all for the simple stuff eh? Well she would see what she could get him interested in. As long as the cuffs matched.... She walked over to a rack of reasonable priced t-shirts and rummaged through and in a matter of mintues she had five different, though equally plain, large shirts. "How about any of these, Peter?" She walked back over to him, "The shirts are all around ten dollars, so you could get more than one, if you want."

Peter watched the women they accompanied talk about shopping like it was some sort of life and death thing, and he had to suppress a chuckle... Life and death? He remembered hunting deer with his father as a ten year old boy, and how they would leave the house at five in the morning, knowing that if they did not catch something, then they did not eat... Hmh, shopping... He was brought out of his daydream by Kitty, she had obviously been looking for something for him, and had come back with a few samples...

"How about any of these, Peter?"

"The shirts are all around ten dollars, so you could get more than one, if you want."

Peter gave them a once over, feeling the material to make sure it wouldn't be uncomfortable...

He looked back up to Kitty, smiling... "These look good, thank you Katya..."
