Celia groaned. Her head was throbbing. Sitting up, she began to massage her temples hoping it would ease the pain a little. That’s when an unfamiliar scent hit her sending her senses into full alert. There as no incense. Her serenity fountain was not there. She wasn’t at home.

Jumping up, she quickly felt her loose corduroy pants for her lighter. It was gone! <Shit!> was all she said before looking around. A very stark white room that looked like a cell. Very similar to the one I was thrown in for grand theft auto, but wait. There’s no fourth wall.

Celia was not that dense, however. She could make out a low humming sound. With little effort, she brought her hands together and shot a high pressured geyser where the fourth wall should have been causing the force field to make itself even more known. <I could always flood the room.> she says aloud.

But she thought better of it. After all, a wet white t-shirt in the lair of the enemy was not a good idea. After all, she didn’t know this enemy. All she could remember were three strangers coming to her apartment after she flooded some “friends of humanity” house. She didn’t remember much from the fight just that Pyro hadn’t got back yet. <shit>

Peter entered the small holding area, the other one till being repaired after the little 'incident' they had had with Trade... Thankfully this new prisoner was a little more docile, at least for now... Trade... Still she invaded his thoughts, his very mind almost unable to distract itself from anything else going on in the world at this moment...

It had been a day or two since this girl had first arrived, and she hadn't caused too much trouble, something Peter was grateful for... They had been careful to prepare food using as little liquid as possible, so that she could not take advantage of their foolishness...

Peter stood in front of the field, gazing in... "I have brought you something to eat... If i lower the field, you will not try to escape will you?"

Celia smirked. She looked him up and down. <Now why would I do that. You have something that belongs to me. I'm not leaving until I get it back.> she says. <Besides, I might have a little fun without leaving the cell. I have two very delicious things brought to me. Is this the five star treatment?>

Her attitude, her movements, her jokes. . .they all would seem so familiar.

<Of course, you will have to let me out. This little qualm you and your friends have with me cause a very important friend of mine to be stood up. That makes me very unhappy, tin man. Since you participated in the postponement, I believe you should make it up to me. Maybe you can let me leave?>

Peter listened to her, his brow shifting position as she went on... She mentioned them having something that belonged to her, but he didn't seem to remember her having anything in her possession... Then she made a rather silly comment about five star treatment... She was a prisoner after all, what did she expect? She had caused too much trouble to be just let roam the streets...

<Of course, you will have to let me out. This little qualm you and your friends have with me cause a very impotant friend of mine to be stood up. That makes me very unhappy, tin man. Since you participated in th postponement, I believe you should make it up to me. Maybe you can let me leave?>

"Let you leave? That is not my decision, and i do not believe there is anything that you are owed, so i do not think i should make anything up to you..."

<I pray that you do not believe that little silver Zippo in my pocket was just an illusion to me. I will get it back> Celia's fist clenched and her eyes narrowed. <Do not presume that I am some little child you can trick.>

"Let you leave? That is not my decision, and i do not believe there is anything that you are owed, so I do not think i should make anything up to you..."

<Then I demand to see whoever decision that is. You have no right to hold me here. Your friends showed up at my house without permission; I was merely defending myself when I attacked.> She says blowing her bangs out of her eyes.

Her thoughts roamed to the young female who was suppose to have been her companion the other night. Well, it wouldn't hurt her reputation too bad. She was known as the most promiscuous bisexual around. She would make it up to the girl. A romantic midnight walk on the beach, dinner for two, and a good shag. Yeah, that's what she really needed was a good shag.

This was when her attention was drawn to the man in front of her. She waited for him to lower the force field. <Are you going to stand there teasing me with food or what?> Her hands were now on her hips.

Peter's face turned to stone... Not literally, but he wasn't impressed by her attitude... "I have no intention of tricking you... I did not know you had a lighter... Though i do think for both your and our own safety, it is not the best time to have something like that in your possession..."

<Then I demand to see whoever decision that is. You have no right to hold me here. Yor friends showed up at my house without permission; I was merely defending myself when I attacked.>

"Right now that is not possible...We responded because of YOUR actions... You think that you are somehow innocent of all the crimes we KNOW you have committed? Do not be ridiculous..."

His own thoughts were confused... There was Trade, obviously, and there was Katya... Now, in front of him was a woman who in so many ways reminded him of Lorili's defiance... They were not the same woman though, obviously...

<Are you going to stand there teasing me with food or what?>

Peter was in metal form, his height and width had increased quite substantially from his human form till he towered over her menacingly, even though it was not his intention to scare her... He took one last look at her, then lowered the field, stepping inside... The field automatically came back on once he was through the gap... He placed the food on a table nearby... "Better?"

Celia laughed coldly when Colossus changed to his metal form. <Don't worry, tin man, I wouldn't hurt you. Not too bad, anyways.>

<Just for the record, that lighter ensures my safety. Does it not look familiar to you at all? As for those houses I flooded, most of them were old scores. Trust me. Those little Barbies could swim.>

There was such anger and pain in her voice. Her fist clenched and unclenched. She closed her eyes and tried to calm her racing heart beat.

<But that is beside the point. If you are to keep me here and want me to remain calm then I suggest you find something or someone for me to do.>

Peter didn't respond to her baiting, it wasn't the kind of thing he did, and he saw no point in it... Being the size he was, he had always required a large amount of mental discipline... Disclipline which served him well when it came to controlling his temper... Sure he had let it slip before, but this girl had some serious work to do before getting under his skin...

<Just for the record, that lighter ensures my safety. Does it not look familiar to you at all? As for those houses I flodded, most of them were old scores. Trust me. Those little barbies could swim.>

"Your safety?" Peter was puzzled somewhat, but he continued... "Whether the occupants could swim and escape is not the point... You still caused trouble and put those people in danger..."

<But that is beside the point. If you are to keep me here and want me to remain calm then I suggest you find something or someone for me to do.>

"Someone?" Peter had done his best to understand American slang over the years, and he thought he got her meaning, but had she really meant what she'd said? She couldnt have... "What do you mean?"

Celia's smirked at his initial reaction. <You know exactly what I mean. You robbed me of a very delicious screw, so you do owe me. Get me someone to do or at least get me a pencil and some paper if you intend on keeping me calm while I am prisoner here.>

"Whether the occupants could swim and escape is not the point... You still caused trouble and put those people in danger..."

<As I said, settling old scores. I gave them a sporting chance. . .not like the one they gave me. Let me tell you something, tin man. Throwing someone who has never learned to swim into the deep end of an in-ground pool is a very good reason for flooding those houses. Not that it was any of your business. I do not ave to explain myself to you.>

With that out, she sauntered over to him and picked up a sandwich to eat.

Her bluntness had caught him off guard, very much so... Even though he'd met some women who were quite forward, none had ever been THAT forward with him, and he was actually genuinely shocked... He took a moment to collect himself and his thoughts, and he cleared his throat before answering... "I will see what i can do... About the pencil and paper, not the other thing," he answered, a touch of shyness creeping through...

"No, you are right, you do not have to explain yourself to me, or to anyone... I just hope that you find this cell to your liking, as it may be familiar to you for a very long time..."

Peter turned, heading back toward the field, ready to switch it off...

"I will see what i can do... About the pencil and paper, not the other thing,"

<You are no fun. Okay, but please make sure there is a sufficient eraser. But if you do change your mind, a female, petite, eye color does not matter, but she must be exotic or virginal.>

Celia had already gone off thinking of who her next conquest could be. They had taken her lighter but brought her food. These X-men were very strange.

<Oh, and I would not advise sending in some human lover. I will ruin them. But if you really want to talk, bring some cards. I will tell you whatever you would like to know then.>

She tells him as they are separated by the force field. She lays back on the cot-like bed crossing her feet at the ankles with one arm supporting her head.

Peter looked at her, his level of shock increasing exponentially... Was she really that desperate, that... Highly driven sexually? Maybe it was just an act, a way to distract him, to throw him off balance... Yes, it had to be, it had to... If it wasn't, Peter didn't know what to think as he stepped outside...

"I will keep that in mind..."

While Trade had just outright hated humans and had a somewhat childlike view of the world, this girl seemed a complete world apart, and yet they had, to Peter, more in common than he had realised at first... Trade, Lorili... He missed her...

Celia sighed. She had finished her sandwich quickly. Since the tin man left, she had time to let her mind wander. Where's Pyro? I hope hasn't caused too much trouble without me. God I need that damn lighter. Where is this motherfucker. If I do not get my aggression out soon. . . She stopped her thoughts. When he left he seemed to be experiencing some painful memories.

She stopped herself again. He is the enemy. He had helped invade her home, imprison her, and now he's helping these deluded fools in keeping her here. Sitting up she looked for her way out. If only she had reached the point of turning her whole body to water. She could go through the sewer systems.

Her mind wandered. How many more of these fools were there. There had been three at the apartment. None seemed to be the leader. Now Celia tried to recall all her conversations with Pyro, He had mentioned that there were at least a hundred or so. Escape would not be easy.

Peter had left her there for now, letting her eat her food in peace... His mind went yet again to how torn he was inside... Not this new girl, not at all, even despite the impression she'd made... And what an impression it was... No, it was Lorili, and how much he'd missed her since their last meeting, and how distant she was so intent on being, even though she seemed to care for him...

Then there was Katya... Dear, sweet Katya... Since the day he'd met her, a part of him had been hers... He didn't know how, or why, or what to do about it, he just knew that it was as it was... He didn't even know if they were meant to be, or whether she was interested, he just knew what he knew...

Several hours had passed, when Peter returned, wary of what she might say now that he was back... He walked in, moving into her field of view, a more subtsantial meal on the plate in his hands...

"I have brought you some more to eat..."

Celia was singing to herself some old lullaby she didn't remember how she knew it. She changed the bottle-sized water floating in front of her into the shape of a spade and then into wolf. Only when she heard the familiar footsteps, did she sit up. She manipulated the water causing it to float over to the toilet and drop back inside.

Arching an eyebrow, she watched the very wary looking Colossus. <So, you bring me food, but where is my entertainment?> she asks <Only bad reviews for you, tin man. The X-men hotel isn't going to last long at this rate.> She gave him a smile, a true smile. <I didn't know cards could be used as weapons by a water elemental.>
