Mission 1.1: The Hunters Become the Hunted, PLOT LINE: Mission 1

[Zeus]

Zeus looked around and said, "We should be heading out soon. We need to get to the second level and quick. There are 2 of my old teammates down there, needing assistance getting out of here."

"Then which direction is it?" Siren asks pulling her long blond hair into a pony tail, it was getting in the way of combat

[Zeus]

"We need to head down the elevator first. Once we're down there, I'll fill you in on all the details. I can't access the second level computers without being down there first. All I know is they are down there."

laughing Siren shook her head "well dont we have alot to go with this time around" she stretched and started walking in that direction

Still waiting for new order, Igor was ready to press on. He felt as if he was able to take some more of this. Finally adrenalin bagan rushing trough his blood. He was still focused, but he kinda wanted to go on. However his enthusiasm wasn't quite shared.

"Wait a moment, you said that we have a mission that is search and resque for Breaker. Now that he is free mission is over. I'm getting sick of your lack of leading skills!" Isak was getting more open with Zeus.

"Mission just expanded, stop complaining." Igor frowned at his roommate.

"Stop lecturing me, brat. I'll have time to separate on you later." Isak answered with visible hate.

All he wanted was to have a clear idea what ishe supposed to do. If his teammates aren't able to give him that, perhaps he should work alone. For him it would be all the better. For the rest of the team he didn't care. But he needed to stay some longer, he needed to find out more about his powers and means of controling them.

Igor was getting really angry with this guy. He knew that they were in a middle of a mission and that fighting among team members would probably not be tolerated, so he just swallowed all the hate he had. His frustration will probably find some releaf later on in the mission. Rather he turned hate into care.

"Zeus, I'm ready, let's go. Siren, are you sure you're ok? Maybe it is better if you... Nah, if you're here, then I guess you are ok... Let's go." he said as he moved toward the elevator.

Although he hated the idea of continuing with them, Isak followed. Just out of curiosity.

[Zeus]

Zeus entered the elevator and said, "Some have powers they can't control as well without more mechanics. Breaker was just lucky to be placed in stage 1 containment. The others are a bit stronger and will need more help getting out of their cells. But, they got a hold of our break-in, so I can only access local panels. There's 2 down on the next level and 3 on the final level before reaching the power core. And, believe me, we will need to shut down the power core to stop them once and for all."

leaning against a wall in the elevator Siren gave a soft sigh "this seems too quiet for my tastes...Shouldent something be happening by now?"

Igor was standing still, near Siren, who leaned on the wall. For some reason, he felt like he should protect her further on. He was listening to Zeus. So there is much more work... But he tried to be optimistic, thinking that they have already done half of the job. Although, he knew that this will be the harder half. Plus he was still without telepathy, that could be useful further on. Igor began questioning was he trained enough. His powers were still running wild, and his phisical abilities were probably worser than his teammates.

But he knew one thing.
"No beacking out now..." words ecaped his lips.

Isak slightly laughed to the comment.

"Even if you could back out, would you?" He asked Igor, as rare as it was, without any gurdge or hate.

Lift started moving slower.

"No" was the simple reply...

Siren listened to the boys talk "no backing out now" she chuckled and spoke up about that "I said that at my first concert, right before everything crashed around me. . .the question is Igor, is if everything crashes around you will you still be able to keep that attitude?"

[Zeus]

Zeus watched on as everyone entered the elevator. He put in the proper command codes and the elevator began moving down to the lower levels. "The next level is going to be a bit tougher and the defenses are going to be a bit more resistant to my attacks. I'm suspecting by the third level, I will need to accompany you all the way through, with it being that tough."

Zeus then watched as the elevator opened. He walked over to a panel and motioned his team to stay inside. He accessed the computer and got the information he needed, but triggered a defensive platform nearby by accident. "I guess security's got wind of our mission." He fired a bolt at it, but it was ineffective. He then looked to his team and said, "Guess you guys are up. I can't destroy it this way. But, I can at least provide a bit of shielding from the blasts."

Inara stepped forward "So la Da!" she sang into her mic shooting the defence platforms Dancing and dodging the blasts it would attempt to shoot at her in a elegant fashion, it was having trouble understanding her method of action

Rock looked at the cell barrs and said"I KNOW WHAT HAPPEN!!!!."

Mike sighed for a moment, wondering how long he could keep up this shielding. However, the blasting turrett exploded instantaneously, with Mike and the others with a bit of confusion on their faces. A japanese man with a sword appeared with a smile and said, "Come on, I had to do something. But, you guys can't freeze up like this anymore. It may end up you will all get taken out down here. Be more alert."
With that, he disappeared as Mike said, "That must have been...Hiro...I never knew. Well, let's get going. We need to find the two who are down here. Everyone ready?"
