[Draiken]

Draike finished grocery shopping for his father, paying at the counter and now walking home. Walking through the crowd, he looked for shortcuts to get him home faster. Not like he couldn't use his power to get home faster, but being inconspicuous was key. At least people couldn't notice air circulating out of his fingers through the full bags.

Noticing a decent looking alleyway, Draike went through it, only to find it a dead end.

"So, who came into our little web?"

Draiken turned around and noticed a gang with iron pipes in their hands and web-like tattoos on their arms. Out of all the gangs he had to run into, the Spiders were people Draike could live without encountering. Curses to his habit of alleyway shortcuts. Putting the bags down, he went into a defensive stance, ready to show them not to mess with him.

Inara had been on her way back to the school when she took the same shortcut. he mom had been killed and now she and her mother where all over the news. Once her eyes locked on the spiders she grinned. Time to have some fun "Awww....big bad spiders....like Grouping up on poor white boys?" she was speaking quite literally. From her view, a Asian girl, That was exactly what she saw "Why don't you boys come over here" she said her voice oozing something inhuman. causing every one of the spiders to drop their pipes and approach her in a daze.

[Draiken]

"I can deal with them myself," Draike snapped, looking at the group carefully as they moved away. "And I'm Japanese, for your information." Despite his polite nature, being helped wasn't something that he liked very often.

Draike breathed in deeply, bringing his hands close together. Draike forced the breath out, pushing the compressed air in his hands at the group, forcing some of them to hit the walls, the group being heavyset and all. The fact that he was showing off his powers in front of a stranger didn't bother him; he needed to get out and deliver the groceries to his father ASAP.

Whatever trance they were in, the guys who hit the wall were out of it and wanted revenge. As they changed direction and moved towards Draike, he whipped out his rapier, extending it to its full length, using his thumb to activate the locking mechanism that prevented it from collapsing upon contact. Draike got into a defensive starting stance, ready for their attack.

-Description: Inhaling, Draike pulls in his hands in front of his chest, palms outwards. Exhaling, he pushes his palms outwards, forcing out a blast of air. It is aimed depending on which direction he pushes out in. It can sometimes be used on the ground to shoot him 3 ft into the air. The last effect is that it can knock lighter objects over/at something (ex. an empty trashcan).

-Damage: 15
-Special Effects: Can be used a maximum of 2 times in a row

she narrowed her eyes and shook her head "Anata ha Totemo wo kusoh Atama desu" she leaned against the wall and yawned "whatever you want Ill just watch the arse kicked." Inara would give any spider who approached her a hard look and speak "turn around" and they would follow the order.

[Draiken]

Draike ignored the comment as all of the Spiders gave her a hard look, strangely entranced as they turned on him. Almost funny how I'm not affected like they are, was his only thought, unwilling to back up deeper into the alley. Out of all the trouble he had to get into, Draike had to be left with one of the toughest gangs and a girl who had to make things worse. A fire escape probably would've been the best thing that could help him at that moment.

Suddenly, he stuck his free hand in his pocket, feeling around for something. With a look of satisfaction, Draike collapsed his rapier after undoing the locking mechanism and stuck it in his belt. He reached into his grocery bags and tossed out several cans at the gang, enhanced by his abilities. Hopefully distracting the gang members, Draike grabbed his now-lighter grocery bags and dashed out of the alley, holding his breath in.

If that girl decided to get in his way, then a strong leap should help him escape. Besides, Draike had enough money left to pay for the thrown cans. Now if he could only get home in time...

"this isnt fun anymore" she rolled her eyes and pulled out a microphone "Gaurdian of the new era" she giggled and put on a little black super hero mask "My name is Siren!" she sang a little into her microphone

intranced but growing a resistance to her voice the spiders tried to clumsily fight the femme fatale, who was using dance and ballet moves to knock her opponents down.

she smirked, as her voice was no longer effectng the gangsters but her microphone's LED was flashing green "SIREN LYRICAL BURST" She did a pirotte in anime magical girl fashion, her mask falling off, along with her ball cap to reveal who she truely was, japanese pop idol Inara Yatamo

the sound wave blasted itno the chests of the Spiders and Inara giggled abit "Boku wa kowai desu" she giggled and turned to walk away "they are only out...you might wanan get those cans and run off"

Draike continues running in the same direction, stopping abruptly, anchoring himself, and lets his breath go, flipping backwards at the same time, also loosening his grip on his bags, landing hard on the ground on his feet. Shifting both bags to one hand, Draike pinches the air and throws something invisible at the gang members on the ground, repeating this multiple times as he passes them to pick up the fallen cans.

Satisfied, he walks out with a small smile. Draike asks the other person, "So, why'd you help out?" He now got a name, got an idea of what happened, but no reason as to why she helped knock the Spiders out.

-Description: Draike appears to pinch nothing and flicks his wrist at someone. The person, assuming the attack made contact, would feel a thin rush of air pass his/her skin (assuming it is aimed at the head). Touching the area, a thin cut would be made. -MP Cost: 1 for the first 3; 5 for the next 3; 10 for last 2

"are you still following me?" she asked turning her head to look at him "and asking a person why they helped someone is very rude, you never need a reason to help someone"

[Draiken]

Draike shrugged as if he wasn't surprised at the reply. "Not following, just wondering," was his answer. "Thanks anyway," he says, leaving in the opposite direction, taking a detour away from Spider territory. Kinda wish I got a better answer. None of my business anyway, Draike thought to himself, soon forgetting about the encounter through his worry of getting back home.

[Draiken]

After about 10 minutes of detouring, Draike finally made it back into view of his house. Feeling better, Draike began to approach the fence door, only to be jumped by other members of the Spider gang.

"No kid and a girl knocks the Spiders out and gets away with it," hissed the member, holding a knife to Draike's throat. "You don't embarrass us like that either."

Ah yes. That was the detail Draike forgot: that gangs like to get revenge for things happening to the rest of the gang. Draike sighed, knowing that this wasn't going to be so easy to get out of, and Dad wasn't home yet, so he was on his own. Not like that girl was going to pop up again and help him out, either.

At least the Spider found out what Draike was doing as he picked up the cans back in the alley: Draike used Aero Darts to cut the Spiders' waistbands,causing them to fall when they stood up.

Anyway, Draike's arms were pinned behind his back, not exactly helping much.

First move: Draike started to hold his breath and twist his hands, forcing them to be parallel to each other.

Second move: Draike bit on the member's hand, forcing him to drop the knife in pain, spreading out his hands as he exhaled a moment later, sending the member off of Draike's back.

Third move: Grabbing the fallen bags and running at the fence, ready to jump it, only to be tackled by another Spider, sending him to the ground, holding his neck to the ground.

So much for that. Now what? though Draike, running out of ideas.

[Zeus]

"I think you would be best to leave the boy alone," was all Drake could hear.
The one Spider replied, "He needs to pay for what he's done to us. Besides, our master needs him for his plans. Along with the girl."
"Your Master? I didn't think your master had plans for these two. Then again, knowing how Brock can get anymore, I'm not suprised. But, the fact remains, you will let him go. I just stopped one set from following them. Care to find out how?"
The one free Spider charged at the mysterious figure, only to have his cry replaced with a sound of electrical discharge. The other Spider, still in a bit of fear, stayed with Drake and kept him in peril.
The mysterious figure then walked forward, reaching out his hand and said, "I don't think you want to cut him, now do you? Eddie Brock would be most displeased if he would find out what you did to him. Now, let..him..go." The Spider's arm almost moved somewhat independant of itself, releasing the knife and dropping it to the ground right next to Drake. The Spider then made a charge at the figure, but was easially downed with an electrical discharge like his counterpart.
Zeus then bent down, letting Drake examine him a bit better before he asked, "Are you alright? We received news you were in danger." Zeus was dressed in a black leather coat with black pants and wearing a white t-shirt underneath. He knew Drake would look a bit confused and suprised, but Zeus figured it would be worth it to at least make contact and get him to safety.

[Draiken]

OOC: Whoa, Eddie Brock...

BIC: "I guess I'm all right. Thanks a lot," replied Draike, getting up quickly and collecting his groceries, putting them all back in the bag. "Assuming that this Eddie Brock guy you mentioned is the head of that gang, what does he want with me anyway?"

Draike paused for a moment. "On the other hand, how did you know I was in danger?" First a run-in with the Spiders, and now two other mutants, he assumed, are helping him out. Draike knew better than to assume that it was the groceries they were after (OOC: Would be kinda funny though ). Mentally sighing, he wondered what else was going to happen to him that day.

[Zeus]

Zeus sighed as he replied, "We knew you were in danger because Jean Grey sensed where you were at using Cerebro and had Cyclops send us the co-ordinates of where you were at. From there, I knew I needed to stop the Spiders from grabbing you and the other one I suppose you may have run into around here. The young girl with the microphone known as Inara."
"And, as for the Spiders, it's only been recently a man known as Eddie Brock has come across the Spiders and taken over as their leader. He has also been taken over by a symbiotic being who calls itself Venom. But, from what I'm suspecting, he's trying to get you two to become the carriers for the symbiote's children, making them more powerful than before. Yet, the thing I can't understand is how he knew you both were mutants."

[RealEmotionX]

"might have to do with me" Inara giggled from a fire escape, she had been lurking around watching Draike "Ive dealt with worse Zeus Did you not think I could handle myself? I was having fun playing with their heads"

[Draiken]

"Wait, who, what and who?" Draike asked, blinking confusedly. "Hold on, how'd you know I was a mutant?" As soon as he said that, Draike cursed himself for his carelessness. Sure, it was true, but admitting that to a total stranger was something he normally didn't do.

Well, what was done was done. What was going to happen next?
