After cuddling for a couple of minutes Bens pager went off. It was his secretary telling him to hurry over to the office. One of his patients had just been institutionalized and needed his imidiate attention.
"I'll call you, okay?" he whispered cupping Avrils cheek and kissing her goodbye.

A while after he left there was a knock on the door.
"Ben you tease, the doors open" she grinned biting her bottom lip.
"Ben?" the male voice by the door asked. The voice gave Avril chills up her spine.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice cold. She stood still not daring to move closer to the door.
"You asked me to come"
"Yeah a loong time ago!"
"I wrote you about that, ya know!"
"I recieved nothign Deryck" Avril hissed, she opened the door and closed it as soon as she stepped out.
"Hey you dyed your hair" he smiled reaching out to cup her cheek in his hand.
""Deryck don't, we've been through this, it's over" she said, trying her best not to cry infront of him.

"Why would you wanna do that?"
"To prove to you thats i've changed" he replied looking into her pure grey orbs.
"I guess" she said. After saying it she hit her forehead in regret. What was she doing Deryck couldn't do a 1 80 degree turn just like thats. But she also knew she couldnt back out now.

When Deryck and Avril arrived at the small resturant called the sea shell crousant they got a table by window since it was the only space left. Besides, it wasn't like people were going to notice them. In the medias eyes they split a long time ago.
"How've you been?" Deryck asked breaking the akward silence they had shared mere seconds ago.
"Honestly? I've felt like shit, happy?" Avril hissed.

Watched my life pass me by -- in the rearview mirror
Pictures frozen in time -- are becoming clearer

"No of course i'm not happy, I miss you Avril, I still love you, when can you get that through your head?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry Deryck I didn't know we hit the people we loved" Avril said in a sarcastic sympathic voive.
"I've had anger management treatment, i've changed" Deryck assured her.

Avril looked into his eyes and senced no anger whatsoever. But she refused to give inot him that easily. Not only was she dating Ben but he had also advised her to stay away from him.
But was he only doing it to get her? Avril was so confused and unfocused she started hyperventilating breathing so fast no air was getting to her body at all.
"Av?" Deryck yelled.
He got over to the other side of the table and gently rubbed her back to calm her down "Relax, it's okay" he assured her haolding her in his arms.
Avril slowly calmed down having a tight grip on Derycks shoulder blades.

"are you relaxed?" he asked noticing her grip losene a little.
"ye-yeah I think so" she said pulling away from him.
"what happened?" he asked sitting back down on his side.
"I just realised something" she said in deep voice. She was furious. She felt like suing him. He probably mindtricked her to be with him!
