Don't know was it before but..
Big discussions on other forums are abouth that so i would like to see what others think about it.

To me it seems like too much talk but some of them promise it works.

It's about litlle work on the head of engine and it make better burning and mixture and also ithe results are better fuel consumption, lower EGT 400-500 degrees under preasure, and posibility of "knock" is lower.
After head work engine can go like a diesel engine in fifth gear at 30 km/h, and in idle it work's at 500rpm...

QUOTE
Singh applied for a patent in January 1999, and the U.S. Patent Office issued him patent No. 6,237,579 in May 2001. Two months after his application hit the patent office Web site, engineers from General Electric applied for a nearly identical patent for an aftermarket design, which they claimed, as Singh had, would result in increased turbulence, and thus better fuel efficiency, with fewer emissions.

“It’s very interesting, I think, that General Electric developed this idea after my patent became public,” Singh says with a smile. “But their design is very stupid. An add-on will never survive the intense forces of the combustion chamber. If I had come up with this idea, I would have been too embarrassed to tell anybody about it, let alone apply for the patent.”

This roadside mechanic in Mysore had seemingly beaten a billion-dollar R&D department. But what had he actually invented? Did it really work? Singh had his patent and his prototype. Now all that remained was to introduce his invention to the world.

if singh grooves really works, then why plotong adapt it? i think the cost will be far more 'cheaper' than their so-called 'wise' R&D

well i've been reading bout that quite sometime ago.. but dont know what to comment... hehe..

and also i have checked on the 4G15 cylinder head... and i dun think there got space to perform the singh grooves on it...

from my understanding, the grooves will reduce the compression ratio a little bit and reduce knocking, while producing better power with more atomization efficiency...

anymore to add??

Try it and you will know smile.gif

*PS all cylinder heads are capable to be 'grooved' including the 4g15. Just a matter of how it is done. One can always contact Mr Singh to find out more.
