Mid life review:
Performance hasn't dropped much although tire has worn down to 50%. Tire noise is louder but not by too much. Definitely noisier than PP2 about the same as GSD3. Wet performance still good. Standing water at 80km/h no issues. Pretty good deal I would say. My next tires would be the eagle f1 D5. |

PS3 is a very good all-round tyre... very good grip n traction, good straight line braking, can perform in the wet as well... and the best thing the PS3 can last quite long compared to other same range performance tyres.
One thing I dont like about PS3 is the tyres do not make noise when you thrash them... so you have to be very sensitive with understeer and oversteer since they just start to slide silently... -------------------- INSULFLEX : Heat/Sound Insulation Material for sale. any comparison between pp2 and ps3? laytiong mentioned that ps3 more noisier that pp2. But u mentioned that this donuts very quiet...

allow me to comment having tried both of them i found the PS3 louder than PP2. grip wise still impressive after 50% usage. wet performance is still good at this stage but i kinda do not like the loud road on old tarmac...
and yes i agree with khguan, the tires rarely scream b4 giving way |

tires traded in for GY F1 D5 after 29k kms of service and having about 25% threadlife left...
paid 900 for 4 new donuts.... PS3 does get noisy after the tires drop down to below 50% thread left...on comparison with D5 the PS3 sidewalls felt stiffer too. |

i found that GY F1 side wall stiffer than PP2, i never got the chance to try the PS3.
