thanks bro. wink.gif

I was driving back from Singapore to KL, hotel to home, point to point in 3 hrs 15 mins plus going thru 2nd link custom checks.

Amazingly, the FC was 9.51km/L despite averaging around 160kph all the time. Am pretty glad.

Then the past week, I've been nailing it pretty hard in the city and the FC has gone down to 5.01km/L, hahahaha.... usually, it hovers around 6.3km/L. smile.gif

Oh yes, it's Ron97 only. smile.gif

Yes bro, you run only 97 eventho the fuel flap on the body says "95+ Only". You get pinging when you use 95 when you're on boost. Stock is 0.6 bar. If you run the higher the boost, you get more ping with low octane gasoline. Mine is 1.2 bar now.

An alternative however is to get your ECU reflashed with a lower fuel map and ignition that matches Ron95. That will work BUT you loose substantial horsepower out of it. Which brings to the point where it defeats the purpose of owning such car, right? smile.gif

ya la you re right. out of curiosity, how big is the airtrek fuel tank? let say with the rate of 9.5km/l, from Sin to KL how many times you stop for refuel, if you start with your tank full?

U'll be surprise when I tell you. Before I enter Singapore, I refuel right before the Msian custom at 2nd link. I drove in, park my car at the hotel all the time until I leave SIngapore. I drove all the way back to KL and refuel near my house at Taman OUG's SHell. I can't recall how many liters I refueled but the warning light is not ON yet.

THe fuel tank is 55 liters I think.

This mod is not for my Airtrek. It's actually not even a mod. It's replacement for worn out part for my wife's Sentra N16. Just sharing the pictures.

The parts...

Installing the front. I had the Bump Stopper changed too.

Rear installed.

After installing, the ride height is much higher by about 1" more as the old one was pretty worn out. The bouncy and wavy feeling is gone and the ride feeling feels more solid.

thanks bro...

I was surprised that Performax is really comfortable for gas shock. I was expecting the ride to be really hard and harsh but it's as good as the original oil filled. smile.gif
