Was thinking to get this SW. Have been devoid of a subwoofer for a long time and backside itchy too. Wanted a little bit of "feng tau" and boom boom for the car. A mix capability of SQ and SPL preferably. Hope the SW comes with lots of thumps (impactful) like the Impact 37, JL W3 or Alpine Type R.
Is this SW easy to be powered? I know AG used to sell this but have no chance to audit them. What do u guys think???? All feedback is highly welcomed. Thanks.  |

Isn't a very popular sub so I don't think anyone except the EA gang can comment.

I use Soundstream Rubicon before (still has it), it's 15" sub and it's not power hungry. I had a ported enclosure for it. It's so powerful that at only 60% blast, I can hear metalic sound from the c-pillar on my Wira aeroback.

Was offered at very reasonable price is the reason. I love the JLW6 and JLW3 also not bad (but can't find any with very reasonable offers). By the way, I can't find any website pointing to this Eton Craig subwoofer at all. Perhaps, this is an OEM product by Eton with some China factories. |

If you look at the Eton website, they don't sell any "Crag" woofers. I don't think this is a Eton speaker. Suspect the brand is "Eton Crag" and they are just riding off the Eton name. Having said that however, if you've tested the speaker and it sounds good to you, within your price range, then go for it. No point asking you to spend RM3k for the JLw6 if you don't have the money for it right? -------------------- |

Rebuild a Eton Crag sub last 2 weeks ago for customer. Not bad for the price.

Finally, my sifu said something. Almost get the sub but then financial minister sounded the alarm as unwise fiscal policy. So, the budget has to be reviewed again  Anyway, thanks for the enlightenment. I think its better I set a higher budget for some quality stuffs.  |
