Anyone here have tried this product on their rims??
Heard it is very effective to clean even the most stubborn stains, from brake dust, road grimes, rubber etc.
Any feedback will be appreciated.

If it can clean old tar stains then I'd be the first to buy it

So far i have only tried the Turtle Wax platinum series wheel cleaner... very strong... that time my driveshaft rubber cover burst n all the grease all over the rim... this cleaner makes my life so easy to clean the mess... smile_thumbup.gif

That's why I worry the strong cleaning properties of this cleaner might damage or wear out the coating of the rims.
At the present moment I just wash them with shampoo with occasional claying and then protect with either a layer of wax or UQD.
Still see some stubborn stains here and there.

Well, I don't worry about the removal of the wax layer. (I can always wax them again, no sweat. biggrin.gif )
What I do worry is the cleaning power might wear away the coating on the rims, the same way those hard snow wash did to the clearcoat of the paint.

Never try Sonax before since so sactisfy with MG product tongue.gif

How much is the Sonax Rim Cleaner cost ? Where can buy ? If cheap i go buy and test it out..than can tell u different between MG and Sonax la

If only brake dust, stubborn stains, road grimes i think any solvent product would do...just dun get product that chemical based..instead alkaline based.

Sorry... I only read this a while ago tongue.gif

I find it quite effective in getting rid of those tar/burnt black carbon thingy on my rims as compared to the safe degreaser. The guy at Sonax demo-ed for me by spraying it and left it on the rims for 5-7mins. At that time he used his finger and rub it togerther with a portable presurized water spray to remove it. Sprayed one more time and left it there few minutes and rinse it off and it's clean.
