What Engine Oil To Use??, Which Engine oil is good for WIRA?

My next round of service will be for my 10,000km.
What kind of engine oil should I use?? Pls advise....

My SIN agent said, I can buy my own engine oil for them...
So I'm planning to buy in JB, any advise where to get cheaper price?

depends on your budget, u got budget then go for fully synthetic oil, other wise just go for semi lor..

I dont mind full syn. but which brand is better for our engine?

tmr i also sending my car to 3rd service/10,000km, i'm gonna use MOBIL 1 GOLD (top range of the series), actually i got it from firezy, this engine can last at least 10,000km. normal price in JB is RM188 (without free gifts) & RM200 (with free gifts).

if you wanna protection for your car engine maybe you can try on the Mobil 1 Gold 0W-40! i got some lobang so that i can sell it cheap to you! inside stinkapor selling SGD85 but i just sell it off RM165!

want it just let me know cos currently im using it and later this weekend wein also will be using it! it can last for 10000km and in between just need to change the oil filter!

i'm using normal Castrol engine oil....

i think using wat type of engine of doesnt really matter if use ur car under normal conditions... most brands r good.. well of course many ppl like semi-synthetic n fully senthetic oil.. just to get a little more performance.... n better feel...

well.. to me... normal engine oil can protect ur car good enuff... as long as u change ur oil in time then ur car will live very long...

FYI, my previous nissan sunny is using normal grade engine oil for over 15 years, 350,000km... n let me thrash de car kau kau for bout 1-2 years.. until now still not yet buka engine yet.. the piston rings r still fine... still dun wanto drink engine oil...

so no need to invest so much on de engine oil.. later after 10000km also become useless fluid... just like ur kencing..

did you take the dem oil for lab test?

don tell me you can tell that oil will be useless by your naked eye?

50000km car and 10000km car! both same level and almost same setting in every mods!

50000km car open hood and the engine response same as the 10000km car including torque, smoothness, responsive and everything! so what you gonna say!
PLUS this 50000km car tapau me and i belip that nite alex saw it also!

another comparison:

70000km car and 50000km car both not same mods cos 70000km is STOCK and open hood, engine responsive lousy cos all these while using mineral type of oil and change also 5000km interval and very careful user never whack car!

so what you think? see by own eye to define good oil sometimes can be USELESS because we done lab test for this oil at 8000km and still good to go for at least 10000km!
if you gonna say because the 70000km car stock so nothing can be compare with 50000km car then no say lor!
we eventually send the 50000km car for tuning and that mechanic is impress because the engine sound so smooth like new car!

well.. i did mention "if u use ur car under normal condition"...

although de engine settings have similar mods... but there r still differences like...

1. maintainance(how de owner jaga de engine.. everybody sure diff..)
2. car weight.. (those additional stuff.. soft toys.. emergency accesorries. bla bla)
3. wat petrol used...
4. hidden secret mods
5. driver (skill, weight, physical, mental )

n i dun think 10k n 50k is much diff. if u maintain ur car well...

if dat 50k car is normally used for long distance... then it is not dat old n de engine will be running better than other 50k car.... cos of some parts in de car is still new... rite? dats wat i think....

about the person who used the car also very important! (agree with the statement)

these 3 guys basically is frens and good frens somemore!

70000km car's owner very sissy and using mineral oil to service car and he never do mod onto the car! very careful driver and he can from JB to Penang driving 110kmp all the way and never speed his car more than 150kmp! so you think how is his driving and car condition!

50000km car's onwer is ok and pretty good knowledge about car! his mods all visible and NO HIDDEN mod! his topspeed of the car is 210kmp

10000km car's onwer just a beginer and don care about voiding warranty! and his mods almost same setting as the 50000km car's onwer!

bear in mind just the tyres different sizes and his car tapau me anytime plus the clutch setting!

that day, we dragging and Peugot 206 also cannot tapau us IN SHORT RUN but long run cannot compare lah because that car so light!

50000km car's owner all these while using Mobil Gold 1 and got the oil for lab test at 8000km and the oil still good to go!

im not trying to promote the Mobil is the best! but for RM165 compare using RM75 Shell Semi 15W-40 and servicing every 5000km pricing just higher a little bit but performance wise already different!

i just change to mobil 1 gold yest, all i can say is this is really good stuff!
among my limited so called MODs (surbo, K&N, VS) this oil give me the strongest & direct effects.

halo, ijnek & alxlow, maybe you guys can think about it. since the price about with the semi syn oil.

RM165 (mobil 1 gold fully syn) last 10,000km
RM72 (shell helix semi syn) last 5,000km

others, up to you guys to believe. ta~ ta~
