khguan - October 26, 2009 03:56 AM (GMT)
Long time didnt update my fotopic
http://khguan.fotopic.net/c1770894.htmlEnjoy!!
My car was getting lots of weird sounds from the front end.... the front lower arms has not been replaced since the car was new... so i guess it is time n one shot do everything and took this chance as a handling upgrade.
The results is quite satisfying despite the cost of the entire upgrade.

WAHAHAHA.. "big rear bush".. sounds so..... wrong.
how much you pay to pump out the old bushes and replace with superpro?
g88 - October 26, 2009 05:02 AM (GMT)

khguan - October 26, 2009 09:30 AM (GMT)
kaninbu izso...
the pumping cost is less than RM30...
g88,
the balljoint?? new arm leh.. apa tukar?? no bush there... just a monk's head.
izso - October 26, 2009 10:40 PM (GMT)
how much for the superpros itself?
klywh1 - October 26, 2009 11:57 PM (GMT)
let Guan reveal the price, me a user of super Pro too so far so good ^_^
khguan - October 27, 2009 02:30 PM (GMT)
well superpro bushes is about 10 times the price of rubber bushes...
the lower arm PU bushes set is about RM320
the arms are about RM200 a pair
everything in about RM550
i got them at dealer price.. slightly cheaper lo...
izso - October 27, 2009 10:33 PM (GMT)
they supposedly last forever right? But I doubt anything lasts forever
g88 - October 28, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
rubber probally won't spoil but arm lubang might be getting bigger...u can't have both side metal and rubber as hard as each others...the vibration, force will be diverting to other area of the car body or part ...somemore with malaysia road condition....
khguan - October 28, 2009 01:22 AM (GMT)
izso,
last forever?? no la... PU also got lifespan... but in this case here.. PU is much sturdier and will not deform like rubber which promises a much much longer lifespan compared to rubber
g88,
apa lubang?? lower arm got no lubang that will get bigger la...

I would love to get my hands on a full set of Superpros. Man.. would be fantastic to have some decent feel from the car after so long. And money for the suspension would be great too. Sigh.
khguan - October 29, 2009 01:43 PM (GMT)
full set?? u might just curse your car then...
PU bush is not as comfortable as rubber bushes.... just these few front lower arm bushes already made the ride slightly bumpier with my new shocks...
kazami32 - October 29, 2009 02:45 PM (GMT)
wah..then if with adjustable "mah sibeh jialat zun"... :ph43r:

My car is already super bouncy because of the dieded absorbers. Having driven with Improve HA with stiff springs, I know how it's like to bounce. I'm quite ok with it really. My family will curse to no end but I'm ok with it. LOL
khguan - October 30, 2009 01:18 AM (GMT)
bouncy n bumpy are two totally different things...
izso - October 30, 2009 04:50 AM (GMT)
both la. One is bone jarring bumpy and the other is bounce.
Like firm boobs and bouncy boobs.. I know the difference la dew.
khguan - October 30, 2009 01:00 PM (GMT)
so u like bumpy or bouncy boobs??

bumpy is when u hump it...
bouncy is during the effect on bumpy...

nice way to describe it... hahaha :D
my ex-wira has got the full super pro on it. on standard abs set. i would say its firmer ride and not as bouncy. feedback feeling on steering is very good and precise. its a good investment. still holding well until now.
the car now with my younger brother. B)
khguan - October 31, 2009 01:41 AM (GMT)
i dont think PU bush will have anything to do with bounciness...
i think u are talking about bumpiness?
since u are using stock shocks.. it would be fine...
