--Visible Identifying Marks: Hibashira has markings that almost look like sun rays. Six squiggly red ‘sun rays’ that extend from a red ring around his neck. One ray goes down the center of his back, two on his shoulder blades, one down the center of his chest and two down the sides of his chest.

--Appearance:
Eyes: His eyes hold a slightly strange shape to them compared to most. They hold a an exotic slant to them despite their large size
Hair Length: Hibashira’s hair is very choppy as if cut up himself (it probably was) Relatively long for a guy it sits as a shaggy mess atop his head with some pieces much longer then others.
Body Type: Hibashira looks slender and almost lithe but he is not without muscle. There is some definition and he is toned without being overtly so.

Over all: Hibashira tends to use his more human appearance. Save for a few markings on his body which could easily be mistaken for tattoos, telling that he is really of demon decent is difficult. When allowing his demonic appearance to surface his teeth are all fanged like those of a carnivore. His nails are also a bit sharper and harder then a normal human‘s, almost like claws. His ears hold a slight point to them. The young man stands at about 5'10" and weighs about 140lbs. His form is very thin in appearance, very lithe and slender, although his taught muscles are visible on his graceful form. You can see his strength despite his thin appearance. Hibashira's head is graced with flowing black hair (that is reminiscent of in texture) chopped to different lengths all about his head. Some small sections are very long and others are short, his hair always maintaining a wild appearance about it. His eyes are of an amber shade, able to change from a gentle warmth to a searing blaze in an instant, always holding an ounce of mischief no matter what their appearance. Slightly tan skin is stretched over his taught muscles. Around his neck, trailing down his back, shoulders, and chest, are what appears to be tattoos of red slithering sun-beams.


CLOTHING STYLE:
Hibashira is usually seen wearing a what appears to be a leather collar around his neck that has a leather strap connected to the ring in the back. That strap goes down to between his shoulder blades before separating into two straps that go around his sides to a leather cover that rests upon his chest and attaches to the front of the collar. The sleeves his wears are not connected to the leather plate and are instead held six inches below his shoulder by leather bands. The sleeves are black with red flames sewn in patterns down to the area that covers the back of his hand. A white pair odd baggy pants that almost have the appearance of a skirt is attached at his waist by a leather belt and a black cloth sits on the back, braving an insignia, almost like a family crest, in fire-red stitching.


If not this, he will be seen wearing a white baggy shirt and brown breeches, his leather vestment always underneath a shirt and his swords always at his sides.

--Dislikes: Water, cold, a lack of whisky, being told what to do, being controlled, his father, watcing others get hurt.

--Fears: Hibashira will claim that he isn’t scared of anything. That would be from his cocky nature. Hibashira fears quite a few things. He fears letting the people he cares about down. He fears being unable to protect them. He also fears being trapped and controlled. He doesn’t like being forced to do someone else’s bidding or being forced to do anything he doesn’t want. He also fears being trapped, especially in a cold place or a place surrounded by too much water, especially boats.

--Personality: Hibashira is a demon, yes; but he is not a mindless killing machine or a drooling beast. Hibashira has a personality, and a very prominent one at that. He holds the appearance of twenty year old boy in both body and persona. He likes games, likes to mess around, likes to cause mischief, and loves pulling pranks on others. That isn't to say he doesn't know when to be serious nor does it mean he has no compassion or heart; in fact, quite the contrary on both. He doesn't like to show it, and most often wont when he knows it could cost him his life, but he is very emotionally connected to many things. He feels for others, sympathizes, feels guilt, sadness, happiness, and every other emotion in the book. If he can get away with it he'll occasionally help another, sometimes even knowing the stupidity of it and cursing himself in the process. Hibashira doesn't like to kill but he does enjoy a good fight and will kill if there is a reason for it, usually survival. Hibashira holds somewhat of a rebellious nature to him; liking to do what he wants when he wants to. He isn't an idiot though, (despite what many might say,) and does know when to listen for his own good and has had years of practice in talking himself out of trouble, using a mixture of charisma and charm with his strong leader-like personality that he obtained from his father. Hibashira is good at acting with a situation, being the person he needs to be to get what he needs to obtain whatever the situation, although like every creature he does have flaws and there are occasions when he slips, doing what his emotions tell him is right instead of what his mind tells him he should do for his own good. Hibashira has a bad habit of being a little cocky every now and then though; knowing that he's strong and having this sever lack of fear that sometimes isn’t the best thing for the stubborn dog demon. That isn’t to say Hibashira doesn’t have fears. Hibashira also has a bad habit of taking chances and risks with a very small outcome for success. In fact, it almost seems as if he walks right into those situations on a daily basis. He tends to use smiles and laughter as a way of protecting himself, a shield against things that could possibly hurt him or bring up bad memories or emotions.

Hibashira is, like a dog, loyal, protective, fun loving, but he can also be fierce when he needs to be. His bark is not worse then his bite though as his bite can cause quite a lot of trouble if angered enough. In the same sense, like fire, Hibashira can be wild and unpredictable, proving to be a tough person to control.

--Skills and Abilities: He is skilled with many weapons but swords are his forte. Hand to hand is also something he's been taught well. Fire is a natural ability for him as it is the core of his existence. Occasionally he can use a little bit of white magic due to his mother's blood however he has no control over it. He is also pretty good at slight of hand.

--Background: HISTORY:
In his clan in the demon world, Hibashira was considered royalty, his father the strongest of the clan, considered kingly to its people. Hibashira's father was a frighteningly awful man. He desired power, desired destruction; he was what you'd call a typical demon. Everyone in the clan was, save for rebellious little Hibashira. When he was very young, around 10 years or so, he'd noticed something wrong with the world of fire, death, destruction, and war that raged on around him. He followed his father faithfully; the father who claimed he loved him dearly. Hibashira was constantly training under his father's command, learning how to use the magic of flame given by birth, growing fond of the three hounds that were with him everywhere he went. His father would tell him that he would one day sit by his side and rule everything under their sight. The more he trained, the older he became, and the more death he was the cause of continued to eat at him. Hibashira held no desire to sit beside his father, nor to remain in the presence of this destruction any longer. He remained loyal though, waiting for his chance, his moment where he could escape to the fabled world above and out of the depths of hell to be free of this madness. Hibashira had everything he wanted, wealth, power, strength, powerful father, a promise of even greater power; yet he hated it all. He hated who his father was, the destruction he coveted, and resented all he had and the pain his people caused others and one another. He ran away after two hundred years when he had been forced to kill someone he cared for and was hunted. Hunted like a dog who disobeyed its master. His hounds were his only friends. When the day came that the underworld opened allowing him freedom, HIbashira took it, only to find himself in a strange land amidst people who spoke a strange language. He did his best to fit in, hiding the fact that he was a demon as often as he could, always on the move knowing that his father’s men and possibly others would be after him. He traveled as a drifter, doing odd jobs, gambling, and sometimes fighting for money when it was needed.

WEAKNESSES:

Water is an almost deadly weakness to this demon. Water is very much like an acidic poison that will burn and sicken him and could kill him if he is introduced to enough of it. Hibashira holds a great will to live but water is the one thing that he has always found hard to tolerate.
Cold is another weakness. Even though he can function in it and use his fire magic to warm himself the cold makes him lethargic and makes concentration difficult for him.
Alcohol is also another bit of a weakness to him simply for the fact that he enjoys it, almost to an alcoholic’s extent, despite the fact that it takes a lot to get him drunk.

STRENGTHS:
Hibashira is resistant to heat and fire, the more that he's around the stronger he can become. In a way its almost as if he is a part of fire itself.
Hibashira is skilled with fire magic. The ability with fire comes more naturally to him then any because of his what created his family. Hibashira is also skilled with combat, hand to hand and sword are his best. He enjoys the twin broad swords, otherwise known as tiger blades. He is quick on his feet and able to move quite gracefully, almost as if he were fire itself. His claws and teeth are sharp as well, able to tear through flesh if need be.
Another skill is his natural resilience. He can heal rather quickly, especially if in the proper conditions (fire, dry area, heat.) He is also skilled with a decent acting ability though, there are times when he just can’t help but to ham it up.
A skill that he has, which he can’t often control, is a prowess with white magic. His mother, someone he’d never known, was rumored to be a Eudemon, a benevolent spirit with natural white magics which could heal and sometimes shield others.
