Rirgorg is an expanse of a ruined city. In the center of this city is a enormous crumbling citadel. The portal that links Odebar to Anon is inside of this citadel. Unfortunately, no mortals dare step through this portal. They know that only death awaits them if they do. Merciless and hungry creatures infest the ruins and are always waiting for an easy meal to step through the portal.
History of Rirgorg In the ancient times of Anon, Rirgorg was an incredible city. In fact, Rirgorg was the largest city in the realm of Anon. This was the time that all of Anon was united under one incredibly powerful leader. This ruler called himself Vires and was said to have been a demigod. It was under his absolute rule that an expansive army was created. Using his power, Vires altered the Portal of Rirgog (which was said to have been impossible) to directly connect to the heavenly realm of Hirael.
When the two realm where directly connected, he sent his army into Hirael to conquer it. At the same time, he had created another portal to Odebar and also send part of his army there. The mortals fell easily under the might of his power, but the immortal Tsubasaed Slegna proved to be tougher opponent. Both sides lost an incredible number.
When Vires saw his victory at hand, he was somehow defeated. The Tsubasaed Slegna had attacked Rirgorg and ultimately destroying Vires and his mighty army. During this time (and the only time) the legendary eighth Virtue is rumored to have appeared, seeking justice for the oppressed and helpless mortals in Odebar.
When Vires was killed, supposedly by the eight Virtue, the altered portal to Hirael vanished and only the portal to Odebar remained. The great battle left the dark city of Rirgorg in ruins and was ultimately abandoned by the more intelligent creatures of Anon.
Now, only lesser dark creatures in habit the city, lurking under fallen debris and waiting for fresh meat to step through the Portal of Rirgorg.
After the death of Vires, Rirgorg plunged in chaos and the entire realm went to war with itself. As time went on, seven of the most powerful beings in Anon emerged one by one to take control of the creatures and the land. Over time, these dark lords became known as the Seven Deadly Sins.
Rirgorg itself remains without a ruler. The inhabitants of Anon are not so foolish as to take over the city of Rirgorg least the demigod Vires returns.
