Scout: An individual sent out to examine, inspect, or observe for the purpose of obtaining information.
Characteristics: Scouts are light footed people with a primary duty of reconnaissance. Normally a senior's underling will provide the scouting needs, or a trusted slave. In a structured army, the Scout's are usually fresh soldiers, that often go on to become agents that specialize in stealth movement through a mixture of terrains. The most effective scouts these days have some ability of flight, in order to spot targets from the vantage point of the sky.
Alignment: Every structured army has them, or is a fool not to have them. Sometimes they are hired by independent mercenaries or lone barbarians. Some scouts loan themselves out to the highest bidder. There are some that have morals, some that do not.
Background: Scout's have existed for as long as there have been things to kill or find. They were used in the long forgotten human dominated ancient times right through to the current ages.
Races: A Scout may be of any race.
