Who We Are

Nouveau Steam is a multi-genre play-by-post role-playing board. Nouveau Steam welcomes those who enjoy writing and role-playing and creativity in general. There are many different worlds to choose from, so one can be sure to find the world that appeals to the writer. These worlds range from high fantasy to science fiction, as well as a mix of both! Nouveau Steam encourages maximum creativity. If one needs help, our members are there to lend a helping hand when it is needed. Members of Nouveau Steam are allowed to create species, races, places, classes, histories, side and personal plots, and more. The imagination is the limit, so feel free to create and write to the heart�s content!

Genders: Male and Female Life Span: Infinite unless the object it is possessing is destroyed. Compatibility: They are general evil and troublemakers. They can be summoned or they are created from souls ripped from bodies and usually kill the one who ripped them from the body. They are generally loners unless they are summoned. Mythology: None. Common They have the ability to possess inanimate objects and use that object to destroy their enemies. They do not tire or require food and water. Common Weaknesses: If the object they are in possession of is destroyed they will vanish from this plane of existence. Can be dispelled if the object is thrown into a holy area. Place: Namely cemeteries, abandoned houses, haunted castles, and dark empty areas. Can exist everywhere. Cannot posses object in holy areas. Races: - Greater Phantasm: Can possess two objects but for a certain amount of time. Can use magic expertly and is very skilled in combat. - Phantasm: A normal phantasm can possess only one object. Has average skill when in combat. Average when using magic. - Lesser Phantasm: These are extremely stupid and can not speak and are very unskilled in combat. Cannot use magic.
