Haruhi was a young looking woman with waist length silver hair. She had pointed ears and iridescent orange eyes. The armor that she wore was rather peculiar, as it was two different colors and highly ornate. Though, it seemed to suit her for some strange reason.

There was also a young looking man that was usually around her with similiar armor. He had blond hair though, instead of silver, through some of their other features where the same. But, while the young woman looked rather nice, the young man had more serious airs about him. His not-so-happy expression usually intimidated others.

The two had been traveling throughout Odebar for quite some time. So far, they have managed to stay out of major trouble. However, because of their appearance, they seemed to attract a lot of unwanted attention from bandits and the like. This was because of their ornate armor. With armor like that, the two were probably filthy rich, right?

Well, yes...and no. While they had a fortune at home, they barely had anything out on the road, so the bandits were mostly disappointed. For payment, they usually tried to steal the young man's and young woman's armor, but were left with nothing pain instead.

And so, this leads us to the current situation....

Haruhi sat hiding behind a bush in the dark, staring at a medium sized camp of bandits. Her stomach growled as she watched them cook their food and eat it like gluttons. All she wanted was a drumstick or two, so that was okay right? She could sneak by them and grab something at least. She really didn't care, as she was rather hungry.

But...if she was caught, there would be hell to pay. Thus, her thoughts were conflicted and she could do nothing but watch them eat while hidden behind her bush. She wanted to just ask them for a bite, but they would probably laugh at her and kidnap her for ransom.

She felt someone tap her on the shoulder at that point and she looked up to see an angry bandit staring down at her. "Oh...hello. I...didn't here you coming. Imagine that. Ha. I will just be going now. Okay, bye!" Haruhi said nervously.

She tried to dash away then, but the bandit snatched her arm. "I don't think so, little lady."

"I can't go? Well...I don't suppose you will share your food then, will you?" Haruhi asked.

As predicted, the bandit just laughed at her. She already knew what was about to happen next. For some reason, things always ended in chaos....

"I told you that wasn't going to work, Haru-kun..." another voice said quietly, and the man stepped out from the shadows. His eyes were the exact same color as the woman's, and it was easy to see the other resemblances in their faces, and despite the difference in color, their hair had the same almost metallic shine. Quite apart from that, however, was the fact that his armor was almost exactly the same as hers, just a mirror image.

"An just 'o d'you think 'o are?" Another bandit slipped from the tent where they had hid, after hearing Haruhi come into their camp, to try and ambush the two. She'd come in obviously enough, but Kaze had just appeared behind her, probably using the unsubtlety of her entrance to mask his own. As usual, though, the look on his face was far different from his sister's...

"Someone who's hungry and doesn't mind beating the hell out of scum like you to get at some food." Kaze said quietly, his gold-amber eyes locking on the man.

"Well maybe 'o can contrib'ute ta our own bellies..."

"Not likely."

"Not your choice, kid."

"Not yours either."

Kaze's deadpan rebuttals finally got to the guy, and he growled, lifted his hand, and moved to strike at the armored young man. Sadly for him, he never got the chance. Kaze closed an armored fist and drove it into his gut. Kaze wasn't a powerfully built guy, even if the armor made him look a bit bigger, but he was tough and athletic - and noone liked having an unyielding metal fist slammed into their soft midsection. Ribs cracked and popped, and the man fell to the ground. Kaze moved like the wind - his namesake, in fact - and slammed his armored forearm into the side of the next man's head. The man who had grabbed his sister cried out in sudden pain, and dropped like a sack of something heavy, eyes rolling back in his head.

Kaze stayed in his stance, looking around for a moment, then, not seeing any more, he stood back up and moved to take a seat by the fire. "Which part do you want, sis?"

Ein Strauss was a man who was only trying to spread the word of God and yet these mean bandit type characters just mugged him. Of course when they went through his stuff one of the bandits just so happened to fall into the bottomless bag he had on his person but so be it. So here he was just stuck inside a tent, hogtied, and very hungry. When he thought all hope was lost he heard the sounds of what appeared to be a skirmish outside.

Ein's nature was that of a curious mind so he inched his way toward the exit of the tent only to be greeted by a bandit's bloody face laying down in the dirt. After stealthily working his way around the body he was yet again greeted by an object but this time it was what appeared to be a person's foot. As Ein looked up he saw that this person was not a bandit and possibly the other end of the skirmish.

"Um, excuse me, I am a prisoner that had been trapped here for about three days and am on the brink of starvation. I noticed your heroic fighting skills and thought you had come to save me, for that I thank you. But if I may can I ask you a couple of questions? Who are you and are you going to eat that?"

Before Kazemitsu was even finished beating the bandits, she was already sitting down and enjoying their food. When Kaze finally came to sit down, Haruhi pointed to the food. "Eat eat! It is really yummy!" Haruhi exclaimed, encouraging her starving brother to pack on the pounds.

When something touched her foot lightly, she looked down to see a man staring back at her. This surprised her, so she ended up giving out a shout and jumping backwards. In the process, she had dropped the piece of food she had been eating.

There was a moment of silence as Haruhi stared at the hog tied man, with Haruhi posed in a peculiar pose. When she realized she had dropped her food, she immediately began to pout and looked at her empty hands with sorrow. "I...dropped it...."

She looked back at the man and blinked. "You were kidnapped? Why would a bunch of bandits capture another man?" She suddenly froze, then moved farther away, "Yiiee! Unless! they couldn't find...a....woman and...." She waved her hand in his direction and closed her eyes. "You poor, poor man. There, there now. Here, have this," Haruhi said, cramming a piece of food into his mouth.

She moved to get some more food to herself, but seemed to have forgotten the man was hogtied. "Yummy!"

Kaze blinked a little bit as Haru dove into the food - he'd actually rather expected her to chastize him for beating the hell out of those men, but then again it had been so long since they'd eaten that she probably cared even less than he did about it... he'd have caught them fish the day before, but she'd knocked the dam he'd built down, and all the fish he'd captured had escaped... oh well. She was his sister, even if she did do things like that on a slightly more regular basis than he would have liked...

He barely looked up when the man spoke, and looked over to Haru for a moment, pretty much ignoring him. "So get some more. This was meant to feed five of them at least, there's plenty." Kaze tore iff a chunk of white meat from the wild turkey - least, it looked like one - and started eating it. He'd worry about washing his armor later, he didn't feel like making untensils and he wasnt going to use the ones those filthy bandits did... his armor tended to stay cleaner.

Odd that the man felt it necessary to give such a detailed account of his predicament. As though Kaze cared at all. His amber eyes rested on the man for just a moment before he went back to eating, also not moving to untie the man.

Kaze fully intended to eat and leave, leaving the man to his own devices as well. Who was to say this wasn't just another bandit that had gotten in a disagreement with the others? He didn't trust what the man said one bit, and he wasn't giving him a chance to hurt him or his sister, no matter what he said.

Even if Haru would probably untie him and cause the problem anyway. He sighed at the thought, and took another large bite before reaching for more. "Who we are is our business and yes, we are going to eat this."

"Um Miss, I believe you have a very active imagination and nothing like that happened at all... ughm" Before he could even finish his statement the girl shoved some food into his mouth that was more than he could chew. This led Ein to choke on the hunger appeasing scrap of meat.

Ein didn't mind that this girl was a little ditzy but very kind, but her brother or whoever that guy she was travelling with seemed to be distant from other beings and if looks could kill, well lets just say a certain someone would have died a few seconds ago.

"Thank you very much" were the words that the already crying(partially from the choking) Ein could utter, just this kind jesture was enough to bring him to tears. Ein was an emotional person, thats just how he is. "I know this is very rude of me since both of you have already saved me from death by feeding this lowly priest but if you would be so kind as to untie me I would be forever in your debt."

Harhui continued to eat happily as Ein choked on his food. She still didn't seem to noticed the he was tied up, which was unfortunate for Ein. But, he finally said something about it and Haruhi turned to look at him in confusion.

"Untie you?" She asked, her eyes moving up to the ropes that bound the guy. "Ohh....! Kinky bastards!" Haruhi suddenly exclaimed with a slight blush. Haruhi turned towards her brother then, whispering, "Kaze! Kaze! They tied him up! They tied him up."

It was rather odd that such a girl would know about such things as "being kinky" as she didn't seem like the type that would know about these things...

She looked back over to him and nodded, then stood. "I will free you! No longer will you have to suffer and be another man's plaything..." Haruhi raised her fist with gusto, showing her determination to free the guy. Ribbons of darkness began to curl through the air until they formed a scythe-like weapon.

Haruhi stood there holding it and nodded with a "Hmph!" She looked down at Ein, and raised it. "HIYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She shouted, swinging the weapon down.

At this point, Ein probably had no idea that Haruhi wasn't as good as her brother when it came to wielding a weapon. Even so, the weapon bared down towards Ein, but at the last possible moment it slipped and thudded into the ground, nearly chipping the side of his head off. "Opps. It slipped. Sorry! No worries, I can always try again," Haruhi stated, picking her weapon back up.

She took a deep breath, then gave a pose, aiming for the ropes again. "I SHALL FREE YOU IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE!"

There was a flash as the firelight glinted off the weapon, and then it was all over....

The ropes that bound Ein fell away, but so did part of his hat. He was no free of the imagined situation which Haruhi had thought happened.

"Miss I think that you have the wrong idea here. Nothing of the sort has occured these people have just taken me hostage due to my luggage." These words proved to be usless as the girl was already sending out a signal that apparently block any thoughts or ideas that were not hers out. By this time she was already spouting words at the top of her lungs which made it all the more difficult to actually understand her.

"No that is okay you can just cut the ropes with that knife over there you don't have to use a scythe. No really you don't have to use a scythe." To late the blade rushed down with tremendous speed.

"MY HEAD! IT HAS FALLEN OFF WHICH IS ODD BECAUSE I AM STILL TALKING!!!!!! Oh you missed." She did the same thing again.

This time she had cut the ropes and Ein was thankful.

"Thank you yet again for your help, speaking of which why did you two stop at this bandit camp anyways?"

Kaze just sat there, eating his chicken and watching the interplay between his sister and that man. He didn't make any reply to anything either of them said until she started going into the kinky portion of the conversation, at which point he broke out laughing despite himself. The very idea, as well as the way Haru said it, was just hilarious, and his serious facade fell away as he laughed. At that point, he looked a lot more like Haru than he usually did, since she was the happy one, after all.

He was still snickering when she made her proclamation about saving him from being another man's plaything, and he cracked up again for a few moments, grinning at her. "Well you'd better save him, sis, that sounds terrible." he said it to make sure she knew he wasn't making fun of her, but he missed the fact that she was about to swing her blade in all the merriment, and didnt have any time to stop her. Oh well. Poor guy... he was more worried about Haru feeling bad for killing him.

She managed, after her second try, to get him out, though, and he shook his head, listening to the man freak.

"Because we like to travel the land and save idiots from being raped. Oh, and there was chicken." For the first time he answered the man, and then went back to eating. His sister was a riot sometimes.

Haruhi stood triumphantly as her brother laughed and then told Ein why they were there. Haruhi nodded in agreement, "Yes. But mostly because of the chicken. Actually, we really had no idea the bandits had a sex slave with them. We just came for the chicken."

With a swirl of darkness, her weapon vanished. Haruhi sat back down at that point and continued eating until she had had her fill. "Boy, I am stuffed. That was yummy! We should pack up any other food they have and take it with us. I wonder if they have anything else useful?" Haruhi stated, getting up and rummaging around in their things.

They mostly had rusted weapons and a few pieces of jewelry. Haruhi could help but put some of it on and ended up looking totally ridiculous. She turned to her brother then and grinned, "We can get some money for this stuff, doncha think, Kaze-kun?"
