Personality: Spinel is quiet when she first meets with someone, but once she starts becoming comfortable, she speaks more openly and freely. She is polite and lady like, but also like to climb trees and other things girls of nobility usually wouldn't do.

Background: Born on a planet called Namue into a royal family. However, she is not considered royalty herself. Only the males of the family are allowed to consider themselves royals and adopt a royal title. However, this does not bother Spinel. She has no desire to get mixed up in such complicated and harsh politics.

Her childhood was as normal as it could be. Her father was a very harsh and intense man, and Spinel was afraid of him and would always shy away in his presence. Her mother was kind, however, and openly expressed her love for all. It is partially due to her father that she fears most men. Not only that but she was kidnapped at a young age by a pedophile duke who took a liking to her. Luckily, she was rescued before any harm could come to her, but the damage had been done.

Spinel usually stayed with her mother in a small castle on the coast, so rarely saw her brother. She loved him dearly and wanted to be with him, but her father would not allow her to stay at the main castle. Even though she thought of her brother constantly, she wondered if he did the same. He was always polite, but he was that way with everyone. She didn't like to admit it, but she was saddened that her beloved twin treated her the same as everyone else. He even treated complete strangers the same. So she watched him from afar, afraid to learn that he though of her as a complete stranger.

When she turned twelve, she was kidnapped again. However, this time she was not rescued. A lord from a rival family wanted to use her to predict his future and bring him fortune in his conquests. And though she was a prisoner, she wasn't treated that harshly. Instead of throwing her in a dark cell in the dungeon, they locked her up in a lavish room several stories up. So far, she has been there for a year and began to wonder if anyone would ever come for her. Day by day, her heart was broken as she faced the facts her family had possibly abandoned her. But what hurt her most is the though of her beloved brother abandoning her as if she were nothing....but a stranger.
