Skylar walked outside from the house into the beautiful garden. Skylar was upset, which was why the weather was unusually rainy in Las Vegas. Skylar stood at the bottom of a tall tree and climbed it and sat in the branches.

How dare he break up with Skylar for being a mutant. At least find a better reason that something that was out of his control.

"Asshole!" Skylar yealled out before pulling his knees up to his chest and crying.

Skylar looked up and blinked at what May said. "Dude. You probably have no idea why I'm up in this damn tree crying, and I'm pretty sure you don't really care."

Antonio walked out and heard a good amount of their conversation.

"Well Skylar, we're your friends. Or at least we're trying to be. Maybe you should try telling us."

He said nodding his head as he looked up at him, adjusting his sunglasses.

Kitty's alien dragon friend (don't call him a pet) Watched the proceedings from Kitty's bedroom window. Seems one of the new humans was distraught over something. The others there to lift his mood. Maby he could help.
Swooping down, Lockheed landed on a branch just above Skylar. Leaning down, he gives the depressed human a friendly lick on the cheek.

Skylar jumped back as Lockheed licked his face. He looked at him shocked for a minute but then settled down. "You must be Lockheed." he said patting his head smiling.

Skylar jumped down from the tree and looked at Antonio and May. "Sorry guys. Boyfriend broke up with me. Just because I'm a mutant, and that really got to me. My parents and my friends have always been there for me, and this was the first time I had ever been treated like that..."

Antonio smiled when he saw him jump down.

"Hey. I'm sorry to hear that Skylar. But if he's willing to do that to you, he's not worth it."

He said smiling a bit.

"I mean right now we're in a whole new place. We should be able to find you a nice guy."

A little dragon. Miss. Pryde was serious. But Skylar was the more important topic at the moment. "You always pick such loosers to get romantic about? Or was he just a fluke? Either way, you're in Vegas now. You're luck's bound to change. Now, let's go shopping!"

Exit May to the waiting van.

Skylar frowned. "Are you always such a little bitch?" he asked glaring at her. "I'm sorry that I'm not perfect enough to be in the May Ducalec fan club." HE shrugged then headed off to the van to go shopping with his new peers.

Exit Skylar to the van.

"The guy indulging in a lifestyle many find sick and wrong broke up with you over something as uncontrolable as being a mutant. And you don't even have a physical mutation like Antonio, Mr. Wagner, or at times even myself at that! And yet I'M the bitch for calling him on it?"

Skylar frowned. "No, I don't have a physical mutation, but still he dumped me. And I'm calling you a bitch because the moment you got here you have been acting like you're better than all of us and that you can't do anything wrong and you say the rudest things to people you know nothing about." Skylar said. Frowning more and furrowing his eye brows in frustration.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry." was all he said.

"No need to apologize Skylar."

he said smiling a bit.

"Everyone needs to vent. Now c'mon, let's go explore Vegas. Maybe sneak away from the chaperones and see if we can't find something more interesting than shopping to do."

He said with a laugh.

Skylar nodded and smiled a bit. "Thanks." he said looking up at him.

"Yeah let's go hit the mall. And leaving the chaps would be grand. I can try and create a fog smokescreen, but with the lack of moisture it will be hard."

"Alright, now let's go."

He said smiling and turning to walk to where their ride was waiting.

"I think this is what ya need to take your mind off all that crap."

He said with a nod of his head.
