Wow, we over in the FreeBASIC community were talking about expanding to the DS, but you went ahead and did it, congratulations. Just a quick question though, and keywork list? And I hope file I/O and input from the buttons and touchscreen become supported. I much prefer using BASIC to make games then using C/C++ to make games.

Thanks axipher. I'll begin work on some documentation for a keyword list. At this stage input from the d-pad, a, b, x and y buttons is supported - see the pong demo. Supporting the shoulder buttons is trivial. Supporting the touch screen is pretty easy to do, except that it requires the ability to hide the keyboard and also requires screen selection. This is not difficult to implement, but is messy - I'll start work on it.

I'm also going to have a go at allowing sprites to be loaded and manipulated and I'll also work on file i/o. I also want to provide a windows version for people who prefer to work on their pcs (this was a suggestion that putzpie made).

All of this won't be too hard but will be time consuming. I've got a lot on at the moment but will try to work as fast as I can.

Wow, fast reply, great feature list, can't wait for keywords, and I'll check that pong demo and try to expand on it, I'm working on a 3D game in FreeBASIC right now, I'll try to create an example for Wee BASIC as well.

I've posted a keyword list on my main site. Any comments would be great. See: http://freescifistories.wordpress.com/2007...basic-keywords/

Yay! you finally made a complete keywords list! I'll have to check it out later, when I get back home. My only question is, why a .doc? why not a .txt? Sorry I'm late, but I haven't been to the forums lately so yeah.

Welcome back Putzpie. The reason for .doc is that my wordpress blog doesn't let me upload text files.
