The Sheriff of Nottingham plots to gain power. He taxes and squeezes the population for money, and other lords are following his lead. He conspires with Prince John, who is returning from France to take over the throne. However, they need you, a rich noble, to help.

Robin Hood is dissatisfied, and wishes for the abuse to end. He takes to Sherwood, in hopes of harassing any rich merchants coming his way. Will you join him as he brings his displeasure to the Sheriff's doorstep?

So, the question remains...

ONCE UPON A TIME...
That's how most stories begin - Isn't it?

"Damn it all!" Robin cursed angrily, looking over what was once his lands.

A young English noble, Robin of Locksley returns home to find his estate taken over and a world that is dominated by corruption and taxes. Guy of Gisbourne has taken over his possessions, and the Sheriff of Nottingham is tightening the noose.

But it isn't just Nottingham.

The year is 1192. England is embroiled in an unwinnable war in the Middle East. The Crusades have been draining the country of it's resources, and the people are getting sick of it.

All across the country, people are starting to suffer, feeling the weight of a war on their hands. England is without a leader. Their king, King Richard the Lionhearted was captured and now languishes in an Austrian prison, held for ransom. His diabolical brother, Prince John, is seizing control of the nation, and the Sheriff and other corrupt leaders are backing him up. An alliance is forming. Secrets are whispered in the night. Shadows move, poisons flow freely. It is a sinful time for England.

What side will you choose? Will you be one of Robin's men, bringing the justice of the people to the Sheriff's doorstep? Or a noble, and live the life of luxury you so deserve? Or your own path, exploiting the situation and gathering power for yourself?

As the Robin and the Sheriff wage war against each other - how long can We Go On Pretending Stories like Ours have Happy Endings?
