A Maiden's Request.

[Kayou]

A young woman sat calmly on the edge of the shirne, staring blankly as the fireflies danced in the moonlight from under the cover of her black umbrella. In the sky above her, hundreds of jet black birds circled the skys, cawwing lowly as they danced in the skies.

[Ryaku]

Ronin appeared silently from a shadow cast by the moonlight. He flawlessly drew his blade, which made no noise as it slid from its sheath. He press the blade up to the girl's neck gently, "....."

[Kayou]

"...Ronin...Good evening to you.." Ava murmered monotonously, spinning her umbrella once, no trace emotion showing whatsoever as she sat on the shrine's edge. The birds abover merely cawwed louder in the night as the circled above the two.

[Ryaku]

"You have approximately three seconds to tell me why you're here unless you want to die..." He replied calmly.

[Kayou]

"Your organization..." she murmured in her dark tone. At that a small raven flew down, landing on her black umbrella, cawing feebly as it eyed the Hatari.

[Ryaku]

He sighed, "If you're with the Oni-Ouka you're as good as dead..."

[Kayou]

"Quite the opposite...I'd like to join..I've...aquired some fairly new information that I'm sure you'd be obligated to know..." she said, her onyx eyes locking in on Ronin as she spun the Raven from her umbrella.

[Ryaku]

"Oh have you now? You do realize that this only gives me more of a reason to kill you if you're not worth joining Akatsuki..." He stared back with his piercing amber eyes.

[Kayou]

"...Hmm...well I think you should consider this before you determine whether your members are worthy or not.." she worded calmly, staring a blank stare as she raised a small ring to Ronin's eye level. The ring was none other than that previously worn by Kazua.

[Ryaku]

"Hm... I see..." He stared at the ring, lost in thought for a moment, "I see you're attune to ravens... And I assume you use them to fight..."

[Kayou]

"Let's just say a couple hundred ravens can pick 5 hearts clean in no time," she replied as another raven swooped down, landing on her shoulder with a soft caw towards Ronin.

[Ryaku]

"Hm... So you killed him?" Ronin's eyes narrowed slightly.

[Kayou]

"I might've...or I might've found him being picked clean on the side of the road...he really was a true abomination of existence that one was..." she murmered, petting the raven on he rshoulder softly.

[Ryaku]

"If you were indeed good enough to kill him, then why not test your abilities against me...?" His voice was still calm, but there was the very slight hint of animosity in it.

[Kayou]

"Now that's just ignorant..clearly I am no match to someone of such a prestigous status." she said as she breathed lightly on the raven, signaling it to fly away into the flock above them.
