Not truly a link, just a useful bit of "nice-to-know" ...
This worked for Timbo, so I am reasonably confident that it is idiot proof ... Your picture has to be on a website to be used, not just on your hard drive ... Save your picture as a .jpg type file on your hard drive. If it is a .bmp type file, open it up in Paint and click on "save as", choosing the .jpg type of file ... Get yourself an account in www.photobucket.com and upload the picture to your account. Copy the URL (address) that it gives you for your picture by clicking on one of the four links underneath the uploaded picture. Click on "Reply" in an existing thread or "new thread", then right click to paste the Photobucket URL ... If copying a link from somewhere else, copy the URL, put the text [img][/img] in the message window. Paste the URL you copied between the two square brackets ]here[ and click on "preview" to check everything is OK before you click on "post". |
