Replaced the worm drive prior to RR4 and just before leaving speedo packed up. Still had my Garmin Forerunner so no problem for the trip. Now when I stripped the new worm drive out again, it was all worn on one side only.Had a spare worm drive and fitted, but when wheel spun could hear clicking from drive. Also the bottom of the thread on the speedo itself was fecked so that's been binned. So I've now got a new speedo, new cable complete and brand new nylon worm and wheel complete. Is there another way to remove the drive wheel off the hub apart from Sticky's grinding it down method? And any tips for putting it all together so it all works correctly?

At the swiming pool on holiday it was only after 20 mins of dirty looks from the other parents that I realised the letter "S" had fallen off my swiming trunks.
