___________General Rules____________1. This site will contain content that is geared towards individuals who are 17 years of age and older. Anyone I find under this age, will be immediately asked to leave and their accounts deleted. There will be content of violence, language, and sexual nature. If you are uncomfortable with this, then I recommend a different site or just to avoid any confrontations will contain such material. The best way to be sure of this is to PM those involved and find exactly what the intent of that particular thread you are interesting in joining will or might contain.
2. When making your account, please be sure to register with your character’s full name. If you find that you have a character that has no name, I would recommend an email to the administrator at nascarsrenee@yahoo.com for personal permission to use a single name.
3. This site will not accept any trollers/spammers whatsoever. We are trying to make this a friendly site where everyone has fun and if there is so much as a peep of a troller or a spammer, Mystique will personally see to it that their grave is unmarked and the body unidentifiable.
4. Godmodding is strictly prohibited by anyone including the staff here at Nature’s Revenge. Taking control of one’s character is only allowed with the consent of the characters involved. Small movements may be allowed, but you should still contact the opposing character just in case they feel it is too much. Killing off characters is also strictly forbidden unless it has been pre-authorized by the administration as part of a plot or if you are deciding to leave our humble abode and wish to be sent off heroically.
5. Having respect for your fellow rpers will only give you that respect in return. Anyone harassing, stalking, or bashing fellow members will receive first a warning. The second offense will be an account suspension for two weeks giving you enough time to seriously think about your actions and decide whether or not this is an atmosphere you wish to continue to play in. A third offense will lead to a permanent ban of all characters, no questions asked.
6. If there are discrepancies and arguments during posting, a warning will be issued to take matters to a private manner and resolve them (PM). If this cannot be obtained, then intervention WILL commence and both parties will be considered for deletion.
7. You will be allowed to take on a total of 3 characters at once. However, in order to have an original character, you must have a canon one in play as well. You can create both at the same time, as long as you put equal time into each character. To play a canon only to be used a few times and then take off with your original will not be tolerated and is highly not encouraged. While we do except Originals, I also like to see just as many Canons playing their part as well.
Amendment (October 10, 2007): As of today, originals will be considered without canons. However, you must be able to prove to the administration that this character is going to be an integral part of the board and will be limited in their powers. Make us want to accept you with an outstanding application.
8. We do have an absence board if you are going on vacation or other circumstances. It would be most appreciated if you use it for us so we can work on a storyline or action around your character's absence.
9. Your bios are placed in the accepted area and left open for you to update them. If I find that you have changed your first thread (application one), then you will automatically be banned from the site. If you character develops a power or something else, you can always post another thread with that particular element as another post. NO ONE else is allowed to post in your bio thread, not even the staff. That doesn't mean we can't delete or edit, but we will not post. Permission for more abilities or powers HAS to go through an administrator and be accepted BEFORE you can post it in your bio.Here are the links to the Application thread and Application Form: Application RulesApplication Form___________Posting Rules____________1. You MUST be able to post twice a week with each character you take on. It is recommended that if you cannot meet that requirement with multiple characters, you need to only make one. It’s not asking for much and twice a week is very reasonable.
2. Any character with a non-active status in posting for over 1 month(4 weeks) will be available again for someone else to take over. Extreme circumstances can and will happen, that's just life. Making the administrator and moderators aware of your intentions on leaving for a while with the intentions of returning will be honored for an additional 6 months time for whatever reason you need to leave (school, relocation, job, etc). If after 1 weeks after creating a character and there is still no application, your account will be deleted.
2. You may only post in character, after your application has been approved and if there are any questions, in your application thread itself. Otherwise, please refrain from posting anywhere besides the OOC discussion room.
3. Please try to be as descriptive as possible with your posts. Include your character's thoughts, actions, feelings, surroundings... etc, as well as their dialogue, when possible. If you give other people more to work with, they will give you the same in return. There will be a minimum for posting. I believe this is not very excessive. All characters should have a minimum of 2 paragraphs of 5 to 6 well-written sentences each. That may seem like a lot but once you get involved in the particular storyline you are running, that can be a very easy goal to obtain.
And spelling and grammar are very important for making a role understandable and enjoyable. There is a spell check for a reason, but I recommend taking it a step further and making your posts in Word or the like and checking your work and rereading it before posting._________Character/Graphics Rules_______1. There is certain rules when applying for a character that must read in order to obtain the password to successfully fill out an application. I suggest you read those if you truly want to become a part of this site.
2. There is a Celebrity claim list on the site. Please be sure your claim isn’t taken before applying or you will be asked to change it. There will be No changing of your actor once you have been approved, so be sure that’s who you want and stick with him/her.
4. All characters must have a real person(actor) portraying them. No real persons found at random sites will be allowed. There are plenty of good-looking actors, actresses, singers, sports figures, and the like to use. There will be no anime characters, cartoons, or anything drawn allowed on the site, period.
5. All avatars must be 150 x 150 in pixel size. This will give the site a very neat and organized appeal to everyone. There will be absolutely no animations, vulgarity, violent, explicit language, or sexual content in your avatar. I would also suggest that if you are unfamiliar with making an avatar that you find someone that can make you one. Distorted pictures will not be accepted.
6. Signatures will be no larger than 500 x 200 in pixel size. That means your width will NOT exceed 500 pixels or your height will NOT exceed 200 pixels.Again, there will be absolutely no animations, vulgarity, violent, explicit language, or sexual content in your signature. If they are ridiculously high in MBs as well, they will be deleted without warning. It takes longer for images to load, so we need to keep them at a minimum. I would also suggest that if you are unfamiliar with making a signature that you find someone that can make you one.___________Chatbox Rules____________1. No arguing. Have a friendly chat with friends and guests. Take other matters to PMs please.
2. Please don't spam sites in the box. It's quite distasteful and we have a friendly user Advertisement Area. Take the time to put up your sites ad instead of wasting time in the C-Box.
3. Keep swearing to a minimum. This may be an NC-17 site, but we can act like the adults we are without the use of profanity. If there are further questions which the answers cannot be found here, please PM an administrator or moderator.
