____The Details____


Personality/Description: Wade Wilson...he's a total wack job! This guy has his own inner monologue that he thoroughly enjoys to use. He is an extremely annoying person to be around with, not even a roll of duct tape can keep his mouth shut, and yet he can't be killed at all! Have I given a vivid picture? No? Then let's continue! Yes ladies and gentlemen, standing at 6"2 and weighing in at 210 Pounds is the Amazing Deadpool! The Merc's wise-cracking vocabulary rivals even that of Spiderman and his skin can scare the fur off The Beast.

Wade cares little for others aside from his close friends and will do practically anything to satisfy the allure of money. Deadpool isn't good nor is he evil, he can't be described that easily. Although, Deadpool has a feeling of commitment to his client and barrels through dangerous areas to complete any mission from rescuing some Joe Blow from terrorists or saving a kitten from a tree.(Don't judge, those claws hurt like hell!) All joking aside, he is not just a comical jester. Deadpool is a cold-blooded assassin and will use all the will and power that he has to make sure his target is dead, even if the target is someone really scary!(Lookin' at you, Wolverine) He is rather headstrong and very goofy when he wants to be, seen occasionally with a smile showing through his mask.

If he is in the mood, Deadpool tends to enjoy playing with his victims in rather tasteless humor that only comic book readers would find amusing.(Did I just insult myself?) Anyways, Wade Wilson is a powerful person and he knows it, so he tends to feel invincible and cracks lame jokes and winds up in awkward situations. I know what you're thinking! "He's gonna god mode all the time!" Well, no he isn't because, if used correctly, he can be quite entertaining while still getting his ass kicked! His physical appearance is both impressive and disturbing.

One would be fooled when first seeing Wade, thinking that he is a body-building tough guy with a tan(or whatever these kids today like) but a person would be horrified to behold his face or body parts that appear burned and scarred horrifically. One humorous thing about Deadpool is that he wears boxers with hearts on them. His costume is a mixture of red and black all across his body. His mask is very similar to Spiderman but with some differences. I'm sorry that I can't be more specific than that but you understand his body structure description right? Katana swords are sheathed upon his back and smaller arsenal are carried around his belt such as sais, guns, explosives, and small blades.


Mutation: Deadpool's most notable ability is his Healing Factor, similar to that of Wolverine, though unlike Wolverine, Deadpool controls his power mentally. The mutation is so powerful that it regrows every functional part of his body from an arm to the heart as well as cuts, burns, bullet holes, or any other scrapes that little boys get running around outside. Along with his healing, Deadpool has a few other powers such as Extensive Immunity. Deadpool has a massive immunity built up to several harmful things that could be called weaknesses. Psychics such as Jean Grey or Professor X cannot attack his mind that is in such a constant state of chaos that it is impossible for telepaths to harm him.

Wade is also protected against all known types of sickness, disease, or infection due to his enhanced Healing Factor that not only repairs his physical body, but also his inner body. The last thing that he is unaffected by are drugs and alcohol. Although Wade drinks his fair share, he cannot be intoxicated regardless of how wacky he seems to get. Pills, drugs, or other foreign narcotics cannot affect his mind or body though he can be taken down by a tranquilizer, just make sure it has enough to take down 10 elephants. There are also Physical Mutations within Deadpool. Wade is gifted with superhuman power due, in large part, to his healing factor.

Strength is mainly judged by how much a human can lift before sustaining physical damage, right? Well, Deadpool cannot be harmed easily so he is granted with a superhuman strength, able to lift approximately 2 tons! The same principle applies to his legs, less fatigue in his leg muscles means that Deadpool can run for an entire day without becoming tired! The last are his reflexes and stamina. These are enhanced above the capable limit of a regular human, making Deadpool even more deadly. His last mutation isn't exactly a mutation but an important curse. This is an interesting feat accomplished in Deadpool's life. After establishing a close relationship with the Cosmic Entity Mistress Death(Seriously! I won't go into details yet.) Deadpool can no longer be killed.


Weakness: Deadpool tends to speak before thinking or act without considering the consequences. This could lead to an important person being killed, important information being slipped to unwanted ears, or something plain stupid occurring. Anyone can take down Deadpool, as long as they know what they're up against and how to counter his strange, tasteless humor and impressive skills because he still has human weakness. Wade can still be beaten nearly to death, knocked unconscious, eaten by a monster, etc. Wade also tends to take on some missions that are too much, even for him, and gets his ass kicked because of a large ego that clouds his mind and judgment.

On to the mutation weaknesses! His healing factor is tied in with cancer developed in his body, making it impossible for Wade to ever appear like a normal person. Any person can see the fault in this such as no undercover missions, never being in a public place without his outfit or image inducer, and other possibilities. The mass immunity and superhuman abilities developed really doesn't have a weakness, it's just plain awesome! The major weakness that Deadpool has is Immortality.

Many would consider this to be amazing but imagine living through eternity, watching your friends die without you, and seeing the eventual end to everything! It's nerve-wracking, I tell ya! Other than that, Immortality rules. His final weakness is that he is headstrong, arrogant, and cocky. This occasionally ends up causing him to lose a fight, rushing in guns blazing with the thought that he's gonna win without fully understanding how deep in trouble he is truly in.


Other Skills: Deadpool has had extensive training in every type of weaponry known to man. He has been trained in Close Quarters Combat for encounters when he is unable to draw a weapon and must rely on pure hand and leg-work to dispatch an enemy into a bruised and bloodied mess. Swordplay deals with weapons such as katanas, sais, and knives for close combat fights when Deadpool means to kill someone or painfully harm them when he is unable to find a safer distance to open fire with guns. This leads to Marksmanship when Deadpool is at a sufficient range to hail down a storm of bullets at his enemies with handguns, automatics/semi-automatics, rocket launched weaponry, or even sniper rifles while still remaining at a fair distance to avoid damage. His extensive work of killing is a vital asset to himself and others he is teamed with.

Wade is incredibly agile which also gives him stealth needed for slipping through security or human detection virtually unnoticed! This comes in need for stealing information or aiding in the rescue of an important person. A very useful ability is his teleportation. On his belt is a device that allows Deadpool to teleport him away from his current position. Sometimes this can be bad, landing him in an unfriendly environment. He also has a device that disguises his appearance used for many purposes such as slipping past baddies. This is known as a holographic image inducer for all you technical guys and gals out there.

History: Very little to no information is known about the childhood of Wade Wilson aside from his birth place and zip code. As a younger adult he joined the Military Special Forces, wishing to serve his country. His mother had suffered from Cancer and died from the dreaded disease while his father met an untimely end at the hands of his drunk friend. Shortly after, Wade was dismissed from the Special Forces and became a Mercenary for Project X. The infamous killer traversed the globe in his deadly work, from Europe to Asia.

However, Wade left for America after a Japanese Crimelord assigned him to spy on a rival who owned a sumo wrestling ring. After three years of infiltration, Wade was ordered to terminate Oyakata, the owner of the ring, but he had fallen in love with the man's daughter and refused to carry out his mission. His American journey was full of action and danger as he encountered a beautiful teenager named Vanessa Carlysle, too bad she was a prostitute...anyways Wade yet again fell in love and continued his Mercenary work, hired to murder a British operative known simply as Blind Al. Wade went to Zaire base where the operative was stationed but went against orders and massacred everyone except for the target herself! Blind Al had escaped, causing severe annoyance for Wade's employers, and the men set their sights on killing Vanessa for Wade's failure but she was miraculously saved by...what the hell was his name? Cullo, Thom, or was it James? Ah who cares, I'm telling the story anyway! He's not important, of course, don't you worry! I wouldn't keep out any of the juicy details.

So, after the entire mess was done and over with, Wade had discovered that, like his mother, he had contracted Cancer! Devastated by this news, he broke up with Vanessa and stopped Chemo treatments, not wanting to slow the process any further. In this dark time he returned to his homeland of Canada where he became a test subject(I prefer guinea pig, thanks very much!) for a Special Weapons division known as Department K.(Not too original, eh?) Like another rough and tough guy that we all know and love, Wade was experimented on during the Weapon X Project. The scientists had procured the healing factor used by Wolverine and implanted the ability into Wade's body, causing the Cancer to actually stop its deadly process!

Unfortunately his body had already suffered from tumors causing his skin to be disgusting. Wade Wilson was the power-house assassin working with a new unit along with his old girlfriend Vanessa who had become Copycat, a shape-shifting merc mutant. Wade ended up killing one of his team mates and was kicked from Weapon X gig and sent to Hospice, which was intended to be a place to store failures but was actually a pretty messed up place. This is where he earns the title "Deadpool." Doctor Killebrew and his assistant Ajax would make the patients into experiments and put bets in a deadpool, a game where the objective is to predict deaths.

Wade became friends with two people, one was a fellow like Wade named Worm and the other was Death.(I'm not kidding.) Killebrew had tortured Wade to the point of death but the man didn't stay dead, he personally formed a close relationship with the astral woman. Wade wanted to kill himself to meet her again and ended up making fun of Ajax, wanting the sadist to kill him but it ended with the intimidating man lobotomizing Worm. Following Death's order, Wade mercifully ended Worm's life but according to Killebrew's law, patients that kill other patients would be executed so Ajax gladly ripped Wade's heart out of his chest and left his body to rot. Anger built up inside of the man and his strong urge for revenge caused his healing factor to kick into high gear and restore his heart.

He surprised everyone with his sudden recovery and stole weapons from the guards and rushed at Ajax, blowing holes straight through him with a couple of automatic rifles. Adopting the codename Deadpool, he escaped and continued his mercenary work and made a bloody slice in history as a wise-ass merc with a mouth. During the New York Incident involving the X-Men fighting against the Brotherhood, Deadpool was busy facing off against a sorcerer named T-Ray, kidnapping Blind Al and keeping her hostage at his house, and rejoining with his old friends Copycat and Sluggo, a man he served with during the Weapon X program. Wade was highly aware of the amazing feats performed by the X-Men at the Statue of Liberty, Alkali Lake, and Alcatraz but he was too busy with finding work to be concerned.

After the incident at Alcatraz, Deadpool was already employed with a time-traveling arms merchant named Tolliver and he has spent the last ten years dealing with a trouble-some mess involving a man named Cable and his team of mutants, X-Force. Although this wasn't his only hobby, of course, Deadpool was keeping himself entertained with his friends and rivals alike, the rest of his story is a bit too bizarre and depressing for me to talk about. That is a story for another time.

Why did you choose this character?Me and my friends go down to the comic store every Tuesday and snag a few books. My favorite is obviously Deadpool because he was completely unlike me and that's what I love about him! He's a total asshole with a cocky and annoying demeanor that every comic reader loves. It's kinda dorky but since we are at an Acting school, we use the stage sometimes to recreate comic scenes and I always enjoy playing Deadpool. It's very refreshing to take the persona of a completely different person from yourself, ya know? If you think I'm a freaking fanboy, I don't give a...(oh I can't say that word) hoot? Well, sorry for the rant but I just enjoy this character so much and am very happy that he's gonna be in the Wolverine Origin movie!

Sample Post: "Oh my god! Help me!" The man could feel his heart pounding so hard, it felt like it would jump from his chest but he needed to keep running! The alley around him was dark and dank while the sky above was an ugly dark grey in the dark of the night as he sprinted away from his pursuer. He could hear the chaser taunting him now, "Why ya runnin' pal!? I just wanna see if your organs are flexible enough for jump roping!" Tears streamed down the man's cheeks when he realized that the hunter was merely toying with him.

He let out one last scream before his shoe hit a garbage can and he came crashing down onto his belly, landing in a disgusting muddy goo that gave off a horrid smell. He rose desperately but a boot was planted solidly on his back and a mocking voice was murmured in his ear. "You ain't feeling too lucky, are you punk?" The whimpering man shouted "Who are you!? What do you want with me?" The hunter merely snickered and took his boot off from the man's back. "I'm your friendly neighborhood Deadpool."

Deadpool grabbed the man and flipped him onto his back, replacing his foot on the victim's crotch. "At your service, now I'm gonna have to t-" Deadpool's sentence cut off and he narrowed his eyes and stared at the man angrily. "Okay, my foot is feeling very warm all of a sudden. Either you took a tinkle or I'm the Human Torch...and for your sake, my foot better be on fire." He looked down at his foot and his eyes widened at the sight of the large darkened stain covering both the victim's crotch and part of Deadpool's boot. "Eww!" He pulled a semi-automatic handgun from his belt and shot the man in the head, immediately hopping away from the corpse. "Ah shit! All the Mr Clean in the world won't get this out!"

After a few minutes of hopping, Wade lowered his foot and gave a surprised look at the dead body, he slowly approached it and poked a limp leg with the handgun's barrel. "Woah, I'm more trigger happy than usual! I'll be damned..." He put his weapon back in a holster and brought out a sharp knife, taking the man's ear for proof of kill, and stuffed the bloody object in a pouch. "Why is it always an ear? Why not a foot or a hand? Why am I talking to myself again...its not like anyone is actually reading my dialogue!" Wade stared up at the grey sky and realized it was going to rain soon, so he turned around and walked away singing "Rain, rain go away! Come again some other day!" By the way, where's my inner monologue? AH! There it is! Thought I lost you old friend.
