Hi all. Here's afew unique mods I thought up. Not all of them have a game purpose except what you think up for them. Also, these items can make the game considerably easier. I get lost in the computer generated forests anyhow.

===These are for those of us who can't wait to mod in real fauna chickens. Here, at least, is a coop you can harvest eggs from. Just limit yourself to once a day for realism and adjust the (amount) to your liking. Note that these eggs are the same as Grouse Eggs for cooking recipes involving {* egg}

The birch bark pot is an item my wife told me about from one of her wildcrafting classes. Apparently it can be used to boil water over a fire because the moisture prevents the birch bark from burning. I would like to see a way to mod in item-degrades-by-usage somehow.

--The box trap is possibly a cheat item. I think it's a viable idea - a crate held up by a stick basically. I like it because I can chop down a tree and make trap line. Possibly to be realistic should use nails? All well. It's fun anyway.

Butter: I heard one person's idea of modding in Butter as the harvest of a plant that didn't generate, and then modding in a DIY recipe for the "butter" seed mushroom thing. Interesting idea, but I had a fairly simple solution also. The butter can be used in any recipe as "Seasoning"

Tallow: Here's Tallow for all the Tallow candle lovers out there. Adjust to your liking. Notice the use of {* fat} so good or spoiled fat of any animal will work.
I made these candles take relatively little ingredients - a game candle will only last a short number of turns, so realisitically they'd be small candles.

Here's my metalworking mod, which uses tongs, a hammer, and mitts and moulds to make various items. tongs and chisels and mitts need to be made first. This mod relies on the character finding "stones" to melt the iron out of. Notice it is made of two menus, Iron Working and Iron wrking 2. Not all items are craftable.

Hey man nice items mod. I stole your chicken coop and chicken egg recipe thoe. (I changed the chicken coop recipe to add 5 stones as well xD)

Thoe when i got the egg i ate it and it told me it was distastefull.

Guess thats what i get for eating raw eggs. tongue.gif

Next up: Figureing out how to make fish and egg's recipe!!!

This is a very nice idea, and it enables "hermit" characters to cook a bit more interesting things than the 10000000th roasted whatever.
You forgot to add [remove] to the bark, though and the use of any tool (probably a knife would be appropriate).
As it is now, you are producing pots out of thin air. wink.gif
